What should happen to Cooper and Marsh ? on 23:03 - Apr 9 by ReslovenSwan1

Almost all your post is wrong again. A re hash of fake narratives regurgitated week after week. The US people have been about to do a 'quick flip' of the club for 5 years already. Levien has been at DC for over 8 years.

When they took over Swansea were not comfortable in the Premeir league. They may have been slightly misled by the win over Chelsea they saw which featured a heavily rotated team by Hiddink after a very strong run. Guidolin had led the team from a precarious position.

Swansea had owners wth no money so the club was run based on cash flow and short term loans from banks.

The US people (you call Yanks ) cannot get their money back without returning to the Premier league unless they stay at the club long enough that inflation takes the value in the championship to above that in the PL in 2016. (This price might have been under book value).

They paid $82m. The 'get out price' is highly susceptible to currency changes. Their holding is probably now worth around $58m. They need a 41% rise either from general football inflation combined with Sterling strengthening post Brexit. Perhaps in 10 years this will be the case,

The idea the US people will leave is wishful thinking by you. They have invested in a convertible loan note and the owners claim it is an investment. It lasts up to 5 year and if they do not buy new shares they will give up 5% pa.

It is the Welsh Swansea City Supporters Trust that wants to leave when the parachute run out not the US people. They are so desperate to leave they are apparently willing to pay huge commission to their funders to organise a forced sale by legal means. Some how the leadership persuaded the members it was a good idea. I suspect they believed that the club would head int fiinancial chaos and fall down rhe leagues. It has not happened. They presented the vote as the "no other option " route.

The US people were happy to let Birch get on with the job. They now appear to be taking a greater hands on role. The Importation of two US internationals was well intended but they were not played a lot by Cooper and subsequently got injured. It worked for Barnsley where they brought in a young striker Dikes who has fired the goals to take them close to the play off positions.

The yanks couldn’t realistically do a “flip” because their total mismanagement, leaving Jenkins in charge and his catastrophic recruitments, culminating in Bob bradly as manager . There was always only one way we were heading.
I don’t actually hope that the yanks “do one” as in spite of their obvious lack of football know how as you say they want us back in the prem to be happy about cashing in, unfortunately they are still learning that you need to invest wisely to get promoted, which is why they failed to bring in the desperately needed quality striker.
The reason for the Trusts legal action as everyone knows, is that the previous owners excluded the Trust from the sale and this action was against the rules of the share holders. What do you expect the trust to do nothing? and see our club run into the ground and the shares becoming worthless? Legal action is the only way to get justice for the true supporters of Swansea City, it’s just a shame it didn’t happen first time round.

If you want an example of how to invest wisely just take a look up the road no more than 40 mile away is a Club despite having millions thrown at it by a billionaire is still behind us in many ways and a mounting debt .Any one of their pending court actions could put them into sever financial problems .

The voting makes as much sense as brexit and a Tory landslide with fewer than half believing Cooper should go.
Surely, if there is another p!55 poor performance he has to go!

Oh dear, this thread is deathly quiet after a masterclass from Cooper and Marsh, pummelling feisty Millwall 3-0 away. How very telling.

Wacky isn't it. A manager who gets the very best out limited resources. Keeping a straight, dignified face whilst doing so.

Cooper is so not the tw*t some numpty continues to troll. Trolling it is, make no mistake.

Cooper's hand is firmly on the tiller, getting the very best flair and ambition from his team right now, at the business end. The antithesis of robofootballers, clearly demonstrating his ability to unearth the very best out of our top pedigree proper footballers. Playing some scintillating stuff, when it matters.

Isnt' it worse than bizzare how some beauts still criticise when the chips are down, and disappear when we're winning.

We've invested wisely, prudently managing a tight ship. Now we ride the wave of ambition and intent we've so cleverly crafted.

Nope, he's wasted three months and Millwall were a tad unlucky.
In desperation he's changed formation at the back (to be pickie it often looked shaky) and in desperation he played our most creative player, Wayne Routledge.
Desperation is not a positive trait.
No doubt the player stepped up, but they are a very good squad and should be competing with Norwich for the title.

Can't disagree with that but explain the previous four games.

Top two is not entirely out of the question if good results continue. A win v Sheff wed n leaves a 7 point gap with 6 to play. Watford have to play both Norwich and Brentford. Good form could see the gap down to 2 and a winner takes all on the last day.

And today Millwall could have equalised at start of second half. What would have happened then.

Fans trying to outfan others. Pitiful

Brentford today. Many of our beauts thought they were bottling it.

On the other hand Champ.

Well set for an automatic promotion chucked away against the likes of Hudds,Cardiff,Preston,Birmingham, now we have to scrap it out against a smart tough Barnsley ,Brentford -who hate us,Bournemouth who will be revitalised and possibly Reading.
Confident? Yeah, course you are.Come back at me when we are promoted.

Cooper has fecked this up make no mistake.Players have been burned away.

Your words were "unfortunately they are still learning that you need to invest wisely to get promoted. " who's money exactly ?
I believe there's very few previous owners of the Club who have gifted millions of their own money to the Club .Out last lot saw an opportunity to stitch the club up and , Silver Shield not much better . Petty wanted a quick flip ,so far as I said previously I've not seen anything to make me distrust the owners , wary maybe .

It's a wacky world where a manager in charge of a player earning £80k per week, and permitted to borrow players from PL clubs earning at least another £30k per week, can be described as "working with limited resources" by people who keep a straight face whilst doing so.

Cooper is a tw*t. He's tried his utmost to strangle all semblance of flair and ambition from this team in an effort to turn them all into shape obsessed robofootballers, and current results (and basically two years worth of performances) neatly demonstrate the folly of this approach.

It's bizarre that some people still attempt to lay the blame for this elsewhere, most notably at the feet of people trying to make the club financially sustainable in the long term.

We've been shite mate, accept it. Cooper ain't the messiah either. Answer me, why are our good performances so rare ? We struggled today until we scored just before half time, which changed everyone's perception of the 1st half. If we are playing shite, we're allowed to point it out.

Today, it was the players who stood up and got him off the hook.

Good to see a reasoned response. Of course Coops isn't the messiah but he's clearly busting a gut to get the very best out of us, and the team are all totally bought in from what it seems.

For me, today we were a cut above for the most part. We haven't been as dire as some exaggerate. Cooper said as much in his post-match presser. We've been unlucky. Unluckiness runs out, in the same way some say our luck has run out.

Why not get behind the collective effort ? It's a no-brainer in this fickle world of social media isn't it ?? Most especially right now.

Beggars belief why some supporters weigh in so heavily when the chips are down and are non-existent when we're winning.

More posters need to stand up and support instead of being the feeble sheeple when some shouty numpties shout loudest at our merest blip.

In the same way the Club is standing up to the undue, unjust abuse.

I didn’t think so. Milwall were well on top for the first 10 minutes, after that it was cagey, but I thought we were better than them.

Rowett even said he ‘didn’t think there was much in it’ in the first half, which is manager speak for us being the better team.

We certainly have been playing shite, even in games we won before the recent losing streak. Cardiff aside, we probably had a run of 7 or 8 games where the opposition were better than us. I quite agree it right and proper for fans to point that out. We played well today though.
