Oxford Astrazeneca jab 13:11 - Apr 7 with 678 viewsbritferry

30 blood clot cases in the UK out of 18m.

If you were now being offered your first jab, would you be happy having this one?

I know I would, oddly I was given the Pfizer one but not out of choice, its just the one they were dishing out on the day

Poll: Which kid would you give money to?

Perfectly happily. Evidence also shows that AstraZeneca vaccines reduces other types of blood clots while catching coronavirus vastly increases the chance of blood clots and deaths.

Having the vaccine vastly reduces your chances of death. No argument really have the vaccine.

Poll: Sholud Wales rollout vaccination at full speed.

The same people who drink, smoke, don't exercise, eat junk food and are overweight which are all riskier than the vaccine

I read about possible risk

We all have a 50% chance of getting cancer

FIFTY PER CENT.

The risk of a blood clot is about the same as a 4 hour flight. Are you going to stop flying?

And then there's Covid of course. You have a VERY good chance of developing a bloodclot if you catch it.

Good question.

My first was the AstraZeneca, due the second shortly and will gladly have the AZ again, if available.

I would have had that one too, or the Moderna one. Yes, they can be mixed

Well hopefully I've had my share.

Hope so too but it is staggering ,is it not, that a tiny risk of a vaccine bringing an issue,is enough for some not only to reject it publically, but to campaign against on social media.

As for risks.try driving on a public road amidst the 20% who do not have insurance.

This week,a baby was slaughtered by one and just where are the howls of derision.

I can understand the concerns especially when the vaccinations were going to a the panacea for all our ills . I don't know the make up of those who are arguing against having the vaccine but youth for example has always been of the mindset that their invincible or it'll never happen and maybe the older generation just want to live as normal a life as possible without an additional unknown way of dying is added to the list
