His position perhaps protected him from some criticism a non-Royal may face, but equally we have a prime minister who has made equally as bad comments and gets away with it. I think he was typical of that generation,the type who names a black labrador by a name now banned apart from usage by black people themselves. My old girl had a decent wardrobe and had a coat described as being nxxxxx brown.It was general use. My niece works for the Duke of Edinburgh awards, speaks very highly of him indeed.

That's it entirely Flash, I genuinely think he cared. I think he appreciated his priviliged position (as does the Queen) and gave all his efforts to serving the country, as does the Queen.
