I wonder what this does to the tv contracts?

Then I hope their fans turn on the blatant and cynical greed this exemplifies.

Any fans that do go with them, I think they'll soon tire of watching the same clubs, the same fixtures. No FA cup or Carabao, no international call ups if FIFA are as good as their word.

The various FA’s could refuse to pick international players, the international associations could also look at making transfers very difficult and they could also look to exclude any player who moves to the breakaway league, doesn’t cut it and then looks to return.
