 Swansea City fans react to Coopers swans doing it again : Play off dates confirmed 25th Apr 2021 17:22It’s a very positive reaction to the swans securing a play off place this afternoon in Berkshire. Even the last gasp equaliser by Reading didn’t really dampen the spirits. Here’s the reaction from Twitter ! The first leg of the play-off semi-finals will be held on Monday, May 17 with the second legs taking place five days later ahead of the Wembley final on Saturday, May 29th.  0

Agreed. Although we threw away six games surrendering the chance to already be on the beach. Yes I’ll support Cooper (the team have always had my support) through the playoffs but if we don’t go up I can see a lot of recriminations harking back to that surrender. It had nothing to do with tiredness or injuries but everything to do with stubbornness and inflexibility.

I'll be behind the club just like have been doing for the last 38 years even though it doesn't feel like the club I grew up with sometimes but that's life.
Once all of the present management & players are distant memories I will still be behind the club.
Last season it was a bit like oh we seem to be in the play offs lets give it a go and see what happens but now we are there for a reason and we need to get behind the boys as we have a 1 in 4 chance of playing in the best league in the world AGAIN!

Potter never looked liked getting the team anywhere near the playoffs. |
Potter was in my view a better long term prospect for Swansea than Cooper is. Potters problem like set piece defending were easier to solve than Coopers problems of turning out attacking positive performances on a regular basis. Potter's home record after the first few moths was excellent. Potter fitted Swansea 's long standing possession based template exacly. Cooper aspires to this template but falls short. |  |
