He was pretty special when he signed for the bluebirds according to my uncle. Crowds increased dramatically, in the late seventies early eighties I would always go and watch the bluebirds play if the swans were away. Had some great players.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Anyone pre 1972.

Latchford was immense, he was aproper centre forward, lethal with his head but he was clever and could play a bit too.

If only we could find modern day verisons of big Bob, LJ and Curt!!

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

I like to try to give youngsters some idea of old players by comparing them with current stars.

I reckon Tammy Abraham is a young version of Adebayor.

Latchford the closest would be Giroud I would guess.

Curtis is tricky. Jordan Ayew perhaps but more consistent.

Leighton James. David Brookes if he gets over his injuries.

John Charles never played for the Swans first team, Leeds took him as a youth player from us.

Ivor had retired a year or too before I started going.

Groo does what Groo does best

I saw John Charles play for Hereford a few times, early 70s. Beast of a man, even then.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Absolutely Ed. I was too young to really appreciate it.
