It seems like anyone they ever play against are big fat cheaters!

They are all ignoring the fact their penalty was never a penalty, it was a shocking decison and thr Cherries were comfortable until then, mind they went to pieces completely after Mephams...not sure what to call it, tackle, cock up, minute of madness...maybe all three!

I honestly think they'll beat us, I'm not at all confident but ti would be so annoying given all their moaning and even Frank does it. He's like a poor mans Alex Ferguson, moaning at the officials, tapping his watch...

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

He's an obnoxious odious prick. How nobody from the oppositions bench hasn't decked him, is amazing.

"Loving the complaints on the Bournemouth and Swansea forums about how the press like us.

I’m not sure if the Swansea and Bournemouth fans understand how the media or, indeed, human emotions, work. Of course the media prefer us to them. We’re a team that has built our house on rock whilst others (including Bournemouth) have built theirs on sand; we are a proper local team with deep roots - Brentford don’t have a single glory hunter fan. Not one; we’ve had very little success since Adolf kicked off; and we genuinely play very attractive football that attracts huge numbers of neutral fans and interest.

Swansea are Andre Ayew on £80k a week, Steve Cooper, and institutionalised cheating; Bournemouth are £600m TV revenue over the last five years but still with a 11,000 capacity ground and a League 1 set-up, Begovic, Billing and Woodgate, and institutionalised cheating.

Comparing Swansea and Bournemouth with Brentford is like comparing a sweating plastic bag of dog turds with a Victoria Sponge cake."

Don't have any glory hunter fans, well if they go up they won't be able to say that when their stadium is suddenly sold out.

Maybe they need to remember we were the media darlings a few years back and when you fall off that pedestal, as is inevitable, it doew come with a big bump.

If they think they will go up and be just the same club in the EPL they are totally deluded. The wage bill will rise, they will pay more, much more for average players than they do for decent players now purely because they'll have more money.

They have a choice though, they can accept they will spend more money, wages will rise and fight to stay up OR, they can stay as they are now, accept that they will get beaten a lot and be relegated.
Maybe it's a warning they should heed, apparently the average EPl wage is now 70k per week. Of course that's infalted by people like DeBruyne and Pogba getting well over 250k per week but the average has risen a lot in just a few years. If they stick with the same wage structure and transfer policy they won't sign many players because just for turning up in the EPL even kids expect much more.

PS, those players they have now will expect a pay rise for promotion but will they acept a reduction clause on relegation?

I think what cost us was staying there 7 years, yo-yoing seems a better way financially (if you could only guarantee yo-yoing).

I remember how we as fans were glad the club was well run, relegation clauses in contracts, the big signing on promotion was 3.5 million for Danny Graham.

Each year those philosophies eroded more in the desperate bid to stay there, so after 7 years when the inevitable happened we couldn't afford to keep hold of any of our better players and hhad to sell off cheap to get of the wage bill.

Ayew loaned out as we couldn't afford t pay him while we were still paying big money for average players, players unable to be picked due to selection bonuses.

I quite like Brentford as a team, I lived in South Ealing and walked to their old ground a few times to watch games. I don't recognize some of the fans on that forum of theirs as the people I mingled with at that time.

If they do go up, its possible they will keep up, but they will come down eventually.

Brentford will face choices if they go up. But what about us? Can't see the owners splashing out, can you? If we'd built for this by keeping our best young players - Rodon, James etc we might have something to go on. But as it is we have no consistent style and a lack of quality. The boys have shown perseverance and done well with what they've got and the manager too, despite the moaning about him, but they'd get murdered in the Prem.

No team would not invest if they get promoted in to the premier league.
I mean we have to get to the next level 😉
