Euros Quarter Finals Weekend 07:41 - Jul 2 with 2364 viewsKeithHaynes

Four games over the weekend which will determine who reaches as far as Wales got last time around.

Some great ties in there, England have the easiest, and no doubt will make themselves favourites.

EURO 2020 QUARTERFINALS

Friday, July 2

5pm : Switzerland vs. Spain in Saint Petersburg

8pm : Belgium vs. Italy in Munich

Saturday July 3

5pm : Czech Republic vs. Denmark in Baku

8pm : England vs. Ukraine in Rome

What are your thoughts folks ?

It's official Belgiums golden generation have failed.

Italy chances of winning the Euros have just taken a massive hit, they have seemingly lost their best player to injury.

What about the other dozen or so class players they have at their disposal🤔

Wonderful match played by two excellent teams. Breathtaking pace, accuracy and skills on show and minimal sideways and backwards aimless passing. That’s because there were players not afraid to run at defences causing havoc. Doku for Belgium and Insigne for Italy were fabulous to watch.
Italy are my tip for the tournament - have been ever since their second XI beat Wales 2-0 - but I was sorry to see Belgium lose for Roberto’s sake. What a game though!

Wales lost by 1 - 0, not by two.

Saw the second half of the Belgium Italy game, the latter struck me as having the edge and it always seemed as though luck was against Belgium. Towards the end the gamesmanship of the Italy of old came out. Felt sorry for Belgium and I suspect Martinez will take stick over this, they’ve got a talented set of players and they’ve come up short again. Doku was excellent and I suspect the bigger teams will be sending their agents to Rennes in the next few weeks. If he carries on like this he’ll have a bright future at one of Europe’s big clubs.

And Wales lost 1-0 in Rome …. Apparently home advantage is quite important in football …. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

The longer it goes on the greater the fall, as long as they lose in the end.

I’ve been listening to some so called expert pundits this morning and apparently England could rest at least four or five players for the semi final, and still beat Ukraine easily tonight.

Im pretty certain England won’t be thinking like that, luckily for the entitled England support.

Ukraine either must be garbage or are being seriously and fatally underestimated.Let's hope it's the ladder.
Ive had enough of this now.

It matters not anyway as the Danes will see off England

Barring some almighty cock up from the likes of Picknose, or some Cooperball falling deep and holding what they have, they have too much for Ukraine and Denmark. I expect them to win both by at least two clear goals.

Aye, me too. I’m also listening to a long detailed documentary about the history and development of the Toyota Supra. It has brought my heart rate down to 42 it’s so geeky. Recommended.
