I've been in 44 degrees in Sicily, the churches were a good respite. Once I get in heat beyond body temperature it's hard work.

I've been on holiday to Palm Springs a couple of times and it's been 120 degrees this time of year, baking hot.

I saw a weather map of Western USa on our news, the coolest place was Seattle at 81 degrees, the rest of it looked like a cirlce Dante forgot to include!

Personally I'm fine in tempertures around 85-90, these temps over 100, I wouldn't cope.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

I was in 42c in Hurghada Egypt a few years ago, and it wasn't too bad as it was a dry heat.42c here would be a killer with our humidity

Our humidity yes, the cold gets right into your bones and the higher temperatures leave you feeling washed out.

Still, I'm glad I'm not out there in their heat, it's too much.
