That's how I see it but if people have made their minds up! As I said, I think he is an excellent player and he showed that at times with us. He was also invisible a number of times. He had a great relationship with Grimes who , incidentally scored the same amount of goals as Hourihane in double the games and two of those were against Forest in the cup. I understand why people have made so many negative comments about him but as Wnston says, he delivered everywhere else. | |

This is why a loan for a young player to a club like ours is priceless, and when Hourihane comes in he displays complete professionalism and dedication which in turn rubs off on everyone else, especially kids. That aside, his loan went sour, but ninety minutes is generally all we see, there’s much more to it than that for sure. |
And then destroys it all on the field during the Games by teaching them to not tackle, not block, not chase and swan aroung like a prima donna.

I agree maybe the "system" didn't suit him but the bare minimum regardless is you don't allow the opposition player to stroll past you or become anonymous for 70 minutes in a match , repeatedly | |

Really did look as if his legs had gone. Couldn't keep up with the pace of the Championship over 20 minutes let alone 90. Very little "obvious talent" on display. | | | |
