Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka — all sent racist abuse online after they missed their spot kicks — were the subject of the discriminatory comments.

Monkey emojis were used, while one wrote ‘houses are getting bombed’ and ‘death threats immediately’. Another message read: “F*** the n*****s absolute c****s.”

One wrote: “Rashford is getting lynched.”

Portsmouth and Hampshire Police launched an investigation into the messages and the League One club has now confirmed three players have been kicked out.
