Do you disagree with players taking a visible protest against the racism that Black players receive? Or do you think that they should protest in a way that you approve of?

The football authorities have has been very vocal in it's message to stamp out racism, and apart from a few morons, it's been very successful.

"Taking the knee" is causing more division than it it adds to racial harmony, I think enough is enough, of course, you are entitled to your opinion on the subject.

The knee is against all forms of discrimination. Not sure why you think it's just against black people?

Still bollocks though and does absolutely nothing

The issue is footballers getting racially abused. Whichever way footballers wish to bring that to public attention is fine by me.

The messaging is quite clear; they are not looking to defund the police or encourage fans to tear down statues etc. Some people seem to want to bring this view into an anti-racism protest I’m sure they have their reasons.

By enough is enough do you think that players should stop taking any action?

I pay for my season ticket to watch the players play football.
If they want to take the knee, they can do it somewhere else.
If they continue to take the knee before each game, I’ll simply go and do something else on a Saturday afternoon.

What are your view of aggressive anti Welsh sheep themed abuse, Kilkenny ?.

Your willingness to involve yourself in matters relating to dark skinned people is honourable but on the sheep issue you are strangely silent.

Personally I see sheep abuse and monkey abuse as part of the same family of "banter" which is not acceptable. Zero tolerance is an nice buzz word but needs application.

Try reading why the players are doing it. Do you think Black players don’t get racist abuse or that it’s nonsense that they should make a public demonstration of solidarity with Black players who get racially abused?

They don't do it when they are playing.
If you are so disgusted by taking the knee it would make you stay away it is probably having the desired effect.

The Football Association (FA) said in a statement that the “gesture of unity and fighting against inequality” is “not new” as it stretches as far back as the 18th century.

“There can be no doubt as to why the players are taking the knee and what it represents in a footballing context. We encourage those that oppose this action to reflect on the message you are sending to the players you are supporting.”

Black players get racially abused do you disagree with that? Do you think that players should visibly protest against racism or do you think that they should only protest in a way that you agree with?

I'm going to get my team to cover their eyes before every game this season as a gesture against grooming gangs.
Are you going to support it?
Would Swansea City adopt it?

Do you agree with the black power fist whilst taking the knee, and it all started with the BLM movement, and they did tear down statues caused damage to property and they did advocate defunding the police, although they have since distanced themselves from BLM, but the initial taking the knee was a direct link to BLM.

Why would you want to do that?

We had anti-racism campaigns for footballers.

They started kneeling after George Floyd death and BLM riots.
Stop telling lies about it, we all remember, it was only last year.

The issue is the racial abuse of Black players do you agree with the FA statement?

Your comments suggest that you are one of the people that the FA are suggesting should reflect on the message you are sending to players.

Note the tweet from Liverpool F.C. in June 2020-

"The entire squad knelt in Anfield's centre circle ahead of today's training session in a powerful show of support for the #BlackLivesMatter movement."
