“Working” doesn’t mean winning every game.

His style clearly worked. He took the style that got us a 10th place finish, changed it and then took us to 6th and 4th as a result, spending 3 times less along the way.

A bit like comparing a decent sized pre tournament underdog losing in the Wimbledon Final to Federer going out in the third round and equating them to the same level of “failure”.

One was clearly a success, regardless of the expected outcome of the final against a much better side who currently sit 8th in the Premier League, beating Arsenal 2-0 along the way.

I think they have only added two players to their starting 11 too.
