If Obafemi is going to play up front as opposed to wide left, we’re probably ok there. Definitely missing creativity. I think we’re pinning a lot of hope on Walsh who hasn’t been fit yet and Paterson who fluctuates between brilliant and anonymous.
Alternatively, Obafemi may play wide left. I like Bidwell, but he’s a glaring square peg at the moment. I’m all for loaning players out, but not when we’re short in their position. Joseph could have played there or covered up front. | | | |

What are you on about? Joseph was never going to play! he may have got the odd minute here and there but thats it. Far better for him to get a full season in League 1, perhaps we will reassess in Jan i should imagine we have a recall option. RM clearly thought he is better off with game time. | | | |

By all accounts he was desperate not to go. Whether that means stay and fight for his place or get a loan to a bigger club than Cheltenham I don’t know.
Don’t get me wrong, if he’s not going to play, it’s the right outcome for him and us, but if we don’t sort the left hand side out and we’ve got a player more suited to the role (I know he’d rather be up front) banging goals in for Cheltenham, it’s mad. | | | |

He was our best ball playing defender. Bar none. We are screaming out for someone to beat the press by carrying the ball forward. He probably could still do a job in the Championship even if he is mid thirties. Definitely more skilled and mobile than Bennett or Lati. | |
