Went into sports direct today, amount of people with no lanyards on and not wearing a mask was unbelievable..... Not one I seen was approached about not wearing a mask(I understand why the staff wouldn't do this).
One young girl with a couple of kids, no mask on and was coughing constantly around the shop, would like to think she had been for a test but with no lanyard on, really can't see what these people are hoping to acheive other than bringing attention yo themselves or even hoping for a bit of controversy.
Masks are a pain but what are others views on these people

dr's and nurses wear them to prevent bacteria, they also wear fitted N95 masks which are changed every couple of hours. in the main they are highly ineffective in preventing virus's.
So when you wear your masks for any length of time you are creating an acidotic state of your blood, a PH imbalance, crucially to your health you need a balance of PH in your blood stream at all times. Constantly breathing in bacteria you are hurting your body by breathing in your own Co2. Understand that this is not doing you any good at all.
Bacterial pneumonia was the biggest killer during the spanish flu.

That's not how it works. The virus isn't hanging around by itself in small particles, It's in the small vapour droplets we sneeze, cough or breathe out.A basic mask will prevent those breaking through by acting as a filter and barrier. We don't need specialist masks to do that, and if everyone wears one then the protection is doubled.
As for saturated masks, where would the virus have gone if not for the masks collecting it. Masks, should be changed and washed regularly as a general matter of hygiene. | | | |

I don't agree with the Brynglas tunnel analogy.
That may apply to a 1 ply mask. A 3 ply mask (which is recomeneded) would be like randomly putting three, unalligned brynglas tunnels end on end and expecting a mini that you can't steer to have a free passage through without hitting anything.

Perhaps the answer is the major supermarkets employ professional security to implement a no mask no entry policy without medical proof as to why you can’t wear a mask. It would take pressure off the staff who are not employed to take abuse when they question non mask wearers. The likes of Tesco etc make enough profit so they can afford it. | | | |
