Labour are Tory lite, they are disgrace, the founding fathers of Labour will be turning in their graves, Labour should be a socialist party but instead they have turned into another Tory party just a lighter shade of blue.
Labour need to expel all the red Tories and return to being a Socialist party.

.... and they’ll be condemned to the wilderness for years to come, the last election results should tell you that.
People didn't vote for Corbyn and his ilk last time out and they won’t do it faced with a similar Labour Party in the future. It’s basically choice of a more middle-ground Labour or the Conservatives whether they are a middle ground or the right wing purged of moderate conservatives incarnation we have now.

Is the right answer.

The British voting public have no more stomach for terrorist supporting types like Corbyn than they do for Far right loonies like Nick Griffin. Labour electing a sh*tbag like Corbyn as leader was a Godsend for the Tories. Guaranteed election win time after time.

They also see through the nonsense that the current Tory party are in any way "far right" or "fascist". Hopelessly incompetent and corrupt? Aye. Not much argument there. Fascist? Not even close, which is why they've been preferable to the alternative so far.

Starmer has done a reasonable job but he's got Johnson's incompetence to thank for his progress more than his own efforts so far. He needs to work harder to rid Labour of the envious malcontents like Rayner before they'll be even close to electable.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

So continues the never ending cycle of failed policies regardless of which party is in power, Every Labour Government has ended with their successors having to impose austerity measures to try to balance the books . Because the policy's which got labour into power ( although attractive to the lower classes and airy fairy socialists who don't happen to live in the real world ) caused the problem by spending money the country never had .while the tax increases they need to pay for this takes a year or two to bring in any funds (if indeed they do), to cover this gap they borrow money which increase the national debt, and repaying this takes more money.
Most of Jeremy Corbyn’s ideas seem to be re-introducing policies that failed in the 1960’s, but are somehow going to work 50 odd years later and Starmer & co seem bent on the same path

It's because the rich people and press running the country don't want a left leaning Government so they do a number on the left, look at Foot, look at Corbyn, they said that Corbyn was a terrorist sympathiser, anti Semitic and that Labour can't be trusted with the economy, all balls and I'm a Plaid voter.

80% of the media are right wing driven.

Starmer has no chance, I feel for him as he as was corbyn will be vilified by the rw media.

The next 10/15 years are going to be tough, unless people wake up.

Corbyn had a long and well documented history of closely associating himself with terrorist groups and anti Semitic organisations such as the IRA, Hamas and Hezbollah. This is a matter of public record. Of course there are two sides to every story and his side is he was acting in a peaceful, conciliatory fashion and wanted to open dialogue to bring unity to all parties. However his refusal to open dialogue with Israeli officials when given the chance sort of undermines this.

The media has every right to hold him to account for his past. They wouldn’t be doing their jobs otherwise.

On Foot, he was an absolute giant compared to Corbyn. Intellectually, morally, politically… pretty much every measure he stomps all over the absolute mess that is Corbyn. The main reason he didn’t win was because the SDP split lost him the best part of seven million votes.

Stop blaming the rich people and the media for the lefts constant failings. The biggest obstacle facing Labour and the left is the petty childish infighting between different factions about who is the most left or not left enough. That and the fact they keep electing deeply unpopular and generally unlikeable leaders.

The tories are constantly leaving open goals, the keeper is miles off his line, it should be a tap in for Labour at the moment but they keep scuffing the ball towards the corner flag.

The Beeb are right leaning, professors from a Welsh university where asked to investigate the BBC by the BBC, these professors were political and media experts and they looked at the amount of coverage the BBC gave both main parties in and out of Government, looked at their Brexit coverage, trade disputes between bosses and workers, Israeli - Palestinian conflict, Scottish independence debate, etc and they were found to have a right wing bias.

If I say so myself as a fair minded fellow it was always obvious that the Beeb were right wing yet the game that powerful people and the media play they make people think it's the other way around to suit their own agendas of never having a left leaning Government in the UK, it's a game and the vast majority of people don't know they are being duped.

Depends on which bit of the beeb you look at. It does seem from their news coverage they do give the government a really easy ride. That kunnesburg lady seems far too pally with the lot of them. But turn on any “comedy”/panel show and it’s like a party political broadcast for the Corbyn party.

I think Laura K predecessor packed the BBC in to be Boris Johnson political advisor (lots of wags think Laura K will replace her, I'm sure that won't happen as I doubt that Boris current wife would allow that) she was forced to resign the other day, Allegra Stratton I think her name was, wasn't Andrew Neil a huge shout with the Beeb for decades on the political scene a former chairman of the young Conservatives ?, wasn't
Nick Robinson a Beeb political correspondent at one time ? I think I heard he was youth president of the Conservative Party.

Top political jobs at the BBC filled by people that either held office in the Conservative Party or went on to hold office with the Conservative Party.

Comedians are a very small section of the media, if you check out the background of a significant number of journalists, commentators etc a lot are private school, privileged types. Their number far outweighs the number of comedians.

Left and right have both screwed things up. We need a centrist party that takes the sensible policies from either side and unites them.

We need a welfare state, we need a properly functioning NHS, we need a sensible immigration policy, we need decent schools, we need a better/fairer tax system, we need to make corporations pay their fair share of taxes AND better wages, we need more police/firefighters/emergency service personnel.

When we get a left Or right wing ideology some of those things always suffer. We need different ideas.

Rant over, OH, and I saw this which means bills will come down (probably more slowly than they went up)
