Yes I do look after my own health, what is wrong with that ? People like you would be happy for restrictions/lockdowns to go on in perpetuity. [Post edited 28 Dec 2021 21:07]

Correct the at risk unvaccinated should self isolate and let the rest of us get on with life.

You obviously don't have the first clue about fascism. Please point out where we can find this description of yours of fascism. What you and others say on here meet at least two tenets of fasicm. Disdain for human rights. Identification of scapegoats as in the unvacinated.

I am interested to know how you define fascism as most historians find it complex- ‘nailing jelly to a wall’, and your crew seem to have concentrated on the Father Ted definition of not liking being told what to do. Yet you ignore the elements of nationalism, protectionism, Cult of leader, specific aesthetics including boasting of virility and athletic prowess. You seem to confuse authority and fascism. They are not the same.

Seems there is a shortage in Wales as well. Not really surprising when demand UK wide has doubled in last two weeks. Testing in the UK has increased from less than a million a day at start of December to 1,500,000 . We'll done the UK for enabling this increase.

The uk govt should have planned for it months ago. It was an obvious risk. Buying additional supplies for storage in a public health emergency is just common sense. Johnson too busy partying hard, and handing out contracts to his posh mates. Get this ship of fools out !!

There’s no shortage of PCR tests down our way at the moment, they’ve just smashed their record for test numbers for the second time this week. Some of my son’s mates went out on the lash Boxing Day, cases are starting to break out! They’re young so should be ok, I just hope they don’t spread it to the older generation.

And Drakeford is doing a fantastic job. About 40,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine have been thrown away after passing their expiration date, according to the Welsh Immunisation System. It represents 2% of the AstraZeneca vaccine supplied in Wales.

I suspect this is a UK wide issue and that it’s not got a lot to do with Drakeford, its more a case of the JVCI changing the criteria for giving Astra to under 40s in May of this year. The order of prioritisation of the vaccine roll out meant they started with the vulnerable and older generations and by the time they started working down the age groups the JVCI issued guidance to stop giving AZ to the under 40s (who were next in the programme) and this left the country with a stock of vaccines they couldn’t use. I am not Drakeford or Gething fan, but we need to take all the facts in to account. https://www.gov.uk/government/ [Post edited 29 Dec 2021 23:08]

You must spend hours finding these oddities. Whereas normal people would use a legitimate source. Mind you I see you as more the Franco-type of religious conservatism mixed with nationalism and your friend more along the lines of Italian fascism, boastful and over-reaching . You have been answered. As you always are you liar. I have told you I will not address a science question with you again. I have several books around WW2, which deal with the rise of Italian Fascism and German National Socialism (and indeed the rise of Stalin). I have read about the Spanish Civil War. We studied elements of the consequences of Nazi policy (and Imperial Japanese) in relation to research as an undergraduate. As you were told there is no clear definition. The policies of the three major European fascist states was different as were their leaders. Hitler intensely disliked Franco whose policy making was wedded to the Catholic Church. Mussolini wanted to rebuild a Roman Empire-hence the disastrous war with Britain and its African allies. I know about this from visits to Addis and its museums. So historically it is difficult to define fascism as a single set of values or Behaviours. There are clear elements in current right wing populism which you have expressed support for. Now you also seems to suggest that I have asked for vaccine mandates or passports. Neither of which is true. Neither should be compulsory but the right to admission or access may be refused on public health grounds. If you don’t want a vaccine that’s fine. You have the choice. But shut up about it and let the rest of us get on with life. Now go read some real books. Go learn. Rather than find the document that supports an argument And you have not defined fascism either. Clever people than us have failed to.

So resorting to insults yet again when you cannot prove your case, it is getting so boringly predictable. Instead now you say "So historically it is difficult to define fascism as a single set of values" Contradicting what you said originally Quote" Let others suffer so I can lead my life. That’s the central tenet of fascism. " Which you have not proved in any way shape or form. Now you switch it to "current right wing populism" as a description of my fascism. From the Brtiannica "fascist populism did not attribute workers’ hardships to big business and big landowners - not me and did not advocate measures such as progressive taxation - not me higher pay for industrial and farm workers, protection of unions, and the right to strike. - not me In general it spared the wealth of the upper classes. - Also not me How about modern right wing populism? From Wiki "In summary, Erik Berggren and Andres Neergard wrote in 2015 that "[m]ost researchers agree [...] that xenophobia, not me anti-immigration sentiments, not me nativism, not me ethno-nationalism are, not me in different ways, central elements in the ideologies, politics, and practices of right-wing populism and Extreme Right Wing Parties" Are you mixing me up with Trampie? Yes you have a massive amount of learning, as you keep telling us all, so how about you engage it before making statements that you can't back up from your vast repository of knowledge.

16 years olds sort of care about the future … 🤷â€â™‚ï¸ Getting young people engaged and informed as citizens might stop the likes of Johnson ever getting in again. Working age people voted Corbyn in 2019.
