Anybody else seen this on Netflix? Probably the best music documentary I’ve caught in years, highly recommended if you’re a fan of the late ‘60s California sound - Beach Boys, Byrds, Mamas & Papas, CSNY etc...
It can’t be easy for a son to flourish in a shadow cast as long as Jakob Dylan’s father, but he does.

There are some ‘proper’ players on there.
Makes you sick, really. 😊
Just a hacker myself. Three chord wonder
The music docs I have enjoyed are the Joy Division one from about 10 years ago which is unsurprisingly quite emotional. This is Pop-XTC which used to be on Sky Arts and Right Here-The story of the Go Betweens- again a bittersweet one of the Aussie nearly men (and women)

My tastes were pretty much set in stone by listening to Emperor Rosko on Radio Luxembourg as a kid.
I love Rockabilly! If you’re ever in a car with me, prepare for a ear blast! 😊

Having now a really good digital piano,I can do what Ive always wanted to do and get into the 50s standards. All unique but one can put one's own spin on them.
Blue Monday comes off well,as does Im Walking, but the originals had the swank and broke the mould at a time when our mums were fawning over Pat Boone and Dickie Valentine, even Ammanford's very own Donald Peers.

I bought a Dickie Valentine compilation quite recently to replace a clapped-out vinyl! 😊
The old boy next to my parents’ party piece! I listen to this and I’m back in junior school on New Year’Eve! 😂
