| Cardiff game 12:02 - Mar 7 with 6273 views | builthjack | Can't see it being moved from 3pm k.o. on the Saturday. Cardiff have apparently only got 4000 tickets left for the home seats. Don't know if the upper is open though. If it is going to be a bubble, then Swansea are leaving it very late to get it on sale. | |

| Cardiff game on 13:39 - Mar 7 by bennytheblue | Happy to support a young team with a smattering of local lads amongst it, a far cry from the inept bunch MM played down the library a few months ago…..we often get big crowds for the derbies anyway dont we. The wurzels for many is bigger mind, Bristol and cardiff are rival cities, swansea doesn’t even make the same page |

I remember when Dai Thomas scored for the swans against Cardiff at Ninian when away fans were banned. Kissing his shirt etc. The main stand went wild. It didn’t look like away fans were banned that night 😉

Maybe that's because the police trust our fans to behave up there? Maybe next season they'll give Cardiff the same chance?

It will still be a bubble trip surely. If not it will be absolute chaos.

I honestly can't believe that. When was the last Saturday 3pm KO between us? Also means that apart from the lucky few that get tickets (or can be arsed to put up with the hassle of a bubble trip) our fans in this country won't be able to (legally) watch the game. Given the stature of the game that's crazy. Why would Sky televise us on a Monday night v WBA and not vs Cardiff? Doesn't make any sense.

Makes perfect sense. The game has no interest outside the fan base of the two clubs. Both are lower mid table teams with nothing to play for. so the only thing riding on the game is bragging rights. At that point in April we are heading towards the sharp end of the league, where many games are played which count towards promotion or relegation. As a neutral fan I would rather watch QPR v Fulham, Bournemouth v Bristol City or even Stoke v Sheff Utd. Of course many of us may be "abroad" and able to see the game ...

I think it was August 1987 my first ever game. I arrived a cardiff central and another train had just pulled in and loads of lads were walking through. I was a bit naive then I they looked and sounded like valley commandos. As we got out the door a huge roar went up and about 150 cardiff fans came charging over to confront the arriving jacks. A lively day that was. Fans charged with rioting, first fans in uk to do so. Think I was 16. I was glad to get home

They televise all the Derby's, yet they've decided to single out the Welsh Derby and not televise the game, absolutely shocking, Maybe someone knows an Email address so that we can all email them and of course the Cardiff Fans, not that anything will change, but they'll know the anger that its created. Maybe drop a line to Talksport and see if Jim White will ask questions.

The stature of the game? Two lower Championship sides slugging it out in a match with nothing on it. What did we do before Sky? Listen to the radio. At least now you might be able to catch a stream. If Sky don't want to televise it then so be it. The Bubble is managed well enough that the chances of trouble are basically zero anyway no matter when the kickoff.

Whatever time the kick off is, they probably have exactly the same arrangements, the overtime will be there anyway. I thought I was a cynic

Thing is, it’s the same amount of coppers regardless of the day, date or time. If it wasn’t a bubble I’m certain there would be more. BTW for a cancelled rest day it’s five days notice I believe and no overtime, just saying 😉
