Looking like they will be the biggest party in NI it's not really a surprise given how many unionist parties there are they are bound to spilt the vote

It would be nice to have a none religious vote over there but it's not going to happen

Insulting to many decent folk who exercise their democratic right to vote for whom they wish. Many would rubbish your standpoint in a heartbeat. South Wales really is a world apart.
My God,the arrogance of Labour voters is as bad a Conservatives.

Class war in 2022.

Look at the state we're in

Decent folk dont vote conservative, they are put in place by the selfish and the fools.
Also i would never vote for any party that is not Welsh.

Keep voting Tory fella, lets subject people to poverty, privitise everything and ensure those fleeing war and persecution are sent to concentration camps in Africa.
Give your head a wobble if you think they represent anyone other then the top 1%.

Poll: When will Russell Martin no longer be Swansea manager?

What a disgusting post.
You impugn every single person who feels different from you
No wonder the Tories are so supine when reading such .

As for me champ,I ll vote Tory if I want ,Labour or Lib Dem. It is my choice .
Now choice is something which you struggle with.

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

Old enough to realise any thread topics other than football on here are incredibly pointless.
Will have to stick to that in future and leave all the other threads be.

What you have to do son is to grow up and make your own decisions, like whom you vote for.I do.It's private too. I don't come out of a voting booth and wave my working/middle class credentials or make out what a better human being I am becaue Ive voted as I have.

I have asked before...

Ban the Tory party?

Yes or no?

Answer that one with an explanation free from filth.

Bryan - no welsh person would vote Tory.

Nye was right.

Nye famously said he had never met a Tory until he was 21.
Drake Ford recently said we should offer our current young people in Cymru the same opportunity.

What.
You need to check out the voting .
Fark me, areas in Wales in Conservative MPs .

Incredible

Now then,Killy,I

I ll ask you. Kill the Tories and ban the party. If not,why not as their voters are clearly vile . It’s been said on here

There again, one could say nobody should vote for Sean Fein with them being killers of British children down the decades. .

Not forgetting Mr De Valera and his expression of sympathy on Hitler's death. There again Nazi Germany has an interest in "neutral" Ireland mainly as the Irish state was not keen on fighting alongside the British who were "occupying" their country.

Yep,Ireland.Again. Our millstone for centuries ,a place we should have stayed well away from.

Everyone forgets that the Germans actually torpedoed any ship heading to Neutral Ireland and cargo ships heading to Ireland joined British conveys for safety otherwise Ireland would have run out of oil, coal and grain during WW11.

Leaving aside the fact that all the equipment would be the property of the NHS not Healthcare Ireland, current per capita spending is about £1000 higher in Northern Ireland than in the Republic.

Treatment pathways would be abruptly cut off. People would die, Tramp.

What you’re trying to say Loh is that the Irish Free State is backward, often stuck on the past .
No wonder they want to stay in the EU so much.

The North is where Irelands industrial powerhouse was .

Hardly though- high skill and high tech economy based on IT, software, pharmaceuticals and financial services. Largely greased by a generous taxation regime. 4th highest per capita GDP in the world. Almost a model of what Johnson claims he wants the UK to be.

Of course large part of Ireland are very centred on the traditional industries of booze, bloodstock and agriculture, but the cities are far from the image we think of (Cork is what Swansea could be)

As for NI-Harland and Wolf are a small employer these days, though Shorts/Bombardier are still a big player. With the profits heading back to Canada. Many look at Dublin with envy, as many in the UK look at the wealth of London.

Funny to look back that Geldof, living in the UK, wrote 'Banana Republic' about a backwards Republic of Ireland. Forty years on it's almost the reverse.

How undemocratic of the DUP! Toys thrown out because they lost heavily and now are trying to hurt their own people. Pathetic. I hope the good people of NI can now see how they are being shafted by the unionists and the only hope they have for peace and democracy is through the Republican.

The Free State came to an end with the coming into force of the new constitution on 29 December 1937 when the state took the name "Ireland".

You are decades out of date.

Read what Prof has posted.
Ireland is a modern democratic European nation.
The north of Ireland has had peace for over 20 years.

The people of the north have newly elected a Sinn Fein First Minister.
The GFA guarantees a Border Poll.
The GFA has strong EU and US support.

This is only going one way … 🇪🇺🇮🇪🇺🇸

I actually agree with some of that I think.
Even though Sinne Fein have a bloody history with a leader steeped in murderous exploits of her heroes, the DUP aren't helping.
Both dogmatic institutions and it makes me believe the bigotry will always be there even though it is buried deeper these days.
DUP very existence founded on Church backed contempt and descrimination towards Catholics and to ensure the key job ,well paid jobs in the likes of H@W stayed within the family-protestant family.

No easy solution to this.

The Good Friday agreement has not,IMO changed core beliefs,ie Sein Fein -One Ireland ,DUP-no surrender to Papery.

Biggest issue surely if an united Ireland was voted for then would it be a Catholic country and look toward Rome ,not exactly something Protestants would want.

The other day I saw a news article where Tory;s were laughing and smiling opening a food bank and then held a fecking BUFFET!

This is nothing to celebrate, foodbanks are shameful and a mark on how broken the UK is under a TORY government.

I will never vote for them as they are pure scum and pure evil. Their voters are too well off or arrogant to care. Most of them will be dead soon thank feck.
