Johnson has lied to parliament. Not just mislead. He should resign. But he won’t. He is in an indefensible position.
Thing is he’s done far worse, and nothing happens. People enjoy being lied to and shafted because they think it upsets the woke liberal lefties. It’s hopeless. The legacy these older generations are leaving for our children is shameful. Scum.

Far worse, but whatever your politics they have clearly mislead parliament and should be gone as a matter of course. If they don't then democracy is already dead.

He should have been automatically blacklisted for ever being able to hold public office years ago when he was recorded trying to arrange for a journalist to be beaten up for investigating his dodgy mate Mr Guppy.

Labour should call an immediate vote of no confidence.

"Having said that, I don’t think that at any time [Johnson] thought that he was breaking the law. I think that at the time he thought, just like many teachers and nurses who after a very, very long shift would tend to go back to the staff room and have a quiet drink - which is more or less what he has done."
How dare he!

Many knowingly broke the lockdown rules during covid, but they were not the PM or members of parliament.
