OK I've changed it.

From someone who is no where near as passionate as you lot….

Answer could be Wrexham

They’ve got a very rich owner who seems to really like where he is, seems to love the game and, although possibly a toy, could do wonders for the club.
Wrexham are now being talked about amongst his rich mates, are in the news in the US are off to Wembley and look like being promoted. Very exciting times ahead, (their fans unaccustomed to success are living the dream.

Swansea

Other than the Blackpool game, I’ve enjoyed every game I’ve been to this year. First game in Blackburn it was clear what we’re trying to do and I’m excited about what next season is going to bring. I’m confident the owners will back him and am hopeful we will retain most of the players he wants to keep. We’ve got a young side, who now know what the plan is, and I’m expecting a good season next year.

I’m a fan of Martin, but he will have no excuses next season. By Christmas we will know what he’s about.

Cardiff

I’d be worried if i were them, apart from a good run of games, they’d be in trouble, they’re playing really poorly at the moment and don’t seem to have a purpose.

Difference between us and them is we have a plan in place.

I am a little concerned about Wrexham. I believe Swansea s owners are much wealthier than Wrexham's. Wrexham have gone for quick fix and are not playing well. Losing to Woking was shocking with their budget and 6-5 type results against Eastleigh or whoever. suggest a lack of focus and arrogance.

They should be walking this league.

Kaplan is actually extremely wealthy. It is hard to work it out but he was a founding member of Oaktree Capital management and that is valued at $7 billion. Each 1% of i his holding is worth $70m. If he owned 5% say then that is $350m. 60 % of it was sold at that price so if he had a 5% holding he would have cashed in $210m in 2019 after he has bought Swansea. If he chucked in $3m for the Convertible loan note it would be small change to him I suspect.

'Billions' are a language we do not speak in Wales. There are only a handful at that level. Terry Matthews, the Specsaver people, Admiral owners Iceland and Redrow who may or may not consider themselves Welsh. A few Stateside Welsh people. Sullivan perhaps.

- if they don't go up this season it won't be down to the owners, they have provided ample resources to the manager to walk the league, but his style of play and tactics aren't great or suited. Next season they'll certainly go up if they don't this.

- whether Kaplan is more wealthy than their owners is not particularly relevant if he's not prepared to leverage that towards helping us. He didn't when we were getting relegated, nor when we were getting close to promotion. Besides an unknown contribution to a loan that he doesn't seem to be in any rush to convert he hasn't contributed anything. Contrast to Wrexham and their owners who have provided funds which pound for pound are gigantic for that level and also leveraged their star power to have the club involved in lucrative deals with Aviator gin, tiktok, Netflix and huge worldwide publicity. Whereas ours besides two unfit loan players don't seem to have provided any such help and they've been here for 6 years ish now.

Wrexham invested £2m. Swansea invested £10m plus. The Convertible loan note has a termination date (the Trust probably know this date). Possibly 2023? The legal case was an obstacle to converting. That happily has now been resolved to the satisfaction of all relevant parties.

It would be a major shock if the loan is replayed. This could only happen if Piroe is sold for £20m+. In this case The trust would retain its 21% and Silverstein will be down the road. (worth £42m in the Premier league). What is not to like?. Crocodile tears never look great.

So has any deal been actually been completed regarding the trust shares or do they still hold 21%?

- Wrexham owners INVESTED in the conference. Swansea owners and other LOANED in the championship. No idea of the date, there were no guarantees provided when the trust asked apparently.

- as I keep telling you Silverstein can't lose. He has the power to do whatever he wants. I won't comment on the other random waffle.

The actors had the benefit of not having to buy Wrexham, it was essentially signed over to them by the supporters trust in return for that investment. Imagine if the former shareholders had plugged their proceeds back into the club account.

(We'd have still been relegated given what we were spending it all on.)

Yes indeed, but had they had to pay for it I'm sure they'd have been able to pay for it, how much do national League clubs sell for? Can't be much, but yes their trust was helpful in doing that.

Technically Morgan has put some back in with his stadium sponsorship.

But let's not turn this into another Resloven spesh derailment thread.

Pretty much everything McElheny and Reynolds have put into Wrexham so far they'll be able to make back from the Netflix documentary if they so wish. Probably for any subsequent seasons too. The interest generated by the takeover has driven significant commercial interest, such as the new sponsorship from Tiktok.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Yes I'm pretty sure very few people related to Wrexham are particularly 'worried' currently
