Funny how socialist China and Russia are the Worlds worst pollution and environmental disaster rates. |
Both countries have come from very low levels of industrialisation and are seeing to play catch up, India is just as bad.

No Socialist or Communist countries remain so for very long. Human nature kicks in fairly rapidly with both.
It's one of the major failings of the philosophy. Lovely in theory but utterly and consistently unworkable in practice. If it doesn't end up in mass slaughter then it's one of the better attempts. |  |
