Bear in mind much of the excesses of colonial power were meted out by Welshmen who were serving in the British Army. You cannot live in a country that has such a dark past,or can you.

With the establishment of the Irish Free State on 6 December 1922 by the terms of the treaty, Southern Ireland ceased to exist.

Do you actually read what you type, The UK is an extremely desirable and safe place to live, that's why people will risk their lives to get here. There isn't a country in the world that doesn't have a somewhat dodgy past somewhere in their history, including Wales.
