Mbape PSG new contract on 07:23 - May 24 with 749 views | Whiterockin | Still they only win domestic honours and nothing in Europe. Pretty much like Man City, does it prove that money is not everything? Both last won in Europe when there was no big money about, makes little sense really.
Mbape PSG new contract on 09:20 - May 24 with 703 views | Luther27 | Absolutely disgusting figures. I read this after reading about a pensioner caught shoplifting for shampoo and washing powder as they couldn’t afford to buy them and food. What the hell is going on with our world and it’s morality.
Mbape PSG new contract on 10:00 - May 24 with 675 views | MrSwerve | It's no doubt a lot of money but the worst part of all that is: "Will decide who can sign or be consulted on it." Good luck to him on the money side, but he'll always be a player and not the manager. He shouldn't have any say on incoming players.

Cup competitions aren’t really the ultimate marker of a teams ability, they are knockout competitions. Anything can happen in them. We won the League Cup but it would be silly to say we were better than Liverpool and Chelsea that season. The more money a club has, generally the better the team they can assemble. Mbappe is probably the best striker in the world. Money has ensured that happens, nothing else. 106 goals in 115 games for PSG, 26 goals in 54 games for France. Still only 23 years old.

There were other equally as crazy clauses in his contract as well.

Players in Premier League are same, Salah is wanting 400k a week to stay with Liverpool, Mane is another who hasn't signed a new contract and I dare say there's plenty of other players holding clubs to ransom.

Mbape PSG new contract on 10:06 - May 24 with 658 views | KeithHaynes | This is mad as well. La Liga report. "It is scandalous a club like PSG, which last season reported losses of more than €220m, after accumulating losses of more than €700m in prior seasons (while reporting sponsorship income at a doubtful valuation) with a cost of sports staff around €650m for this 2021-22 season, can face an agreement of these characteristics while those clubs that could accept the arrival of the player without seeing their wage bill compromised, are left without being able to sign him."

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Personally I think Man City would swap the Campions League title for the premiership this season.

They probably would, but no amount of money will guarantee success in a cup competition, the nature of knockout football means it is less predictable as the ties are short. There have been far more Cup winner shocks than League winner shocks. Having the best team will tend to show itself more in relation to more time in that competition. For example Man City vs Spurs over 90 mins would probably be 1/2 for Man City. If they played over 900 mins Man City would probably be 1/10, superiority will show over time, but not necessarily always over a short period, hence we were able to beat the likes of Man City but would never come close to them in the league.

Your post appeared to suggest that money isn't everything. But it probably is. European honors however will always have some variance due to the nature of the competition. Although it goes without saying the more money you have, the better the team you can assemble and the more likely that variance plays into your favor. Man City/PSG may win the European Cup 1 in 5 attempts where as without the money they would win 1 in 20 or such like. European Cup dominance is incredibly hard to achieve, but the more money you have the better your chance.

Mbape PSG new contract on 06:23 - May 25 with 433 views | pikeypaul | Cup tournaments are a lottery . Liverpool have won two in the last few months both on penalties, having been out played for large parts of both games. No one can ever say that Real were the better team than City in the 2 legs of the semis, but they got the breaks and went through. So good luck to them, the better team no way.
