Bid of 500k incoming.

Not sure on this one but first reaction was take the money.

Doesn't sound like 500k cash. It is being reported as a deal ''worth'' 500k.

That suggests it will be made up of add-ons and clauses.

Take the money and improve the squad. Overall has been a bit part player. There are better options.

One of the slowest players I have ever seen on a football pitch and way to small for centre half if we revert back to flat back four. I can't believe someone would pay money for him.

Even when you know, you never know?

Burnley looking for some new Kompany at turf moor TRANSFER UPDATES 16th Jun 2022 16:55
Joel Latibeudiere has been associated with a low bid from Burnley in the near future and the obvious link is new manager Vincent Kompany. He knows the player from his Manchester City days. Joel has developed incredibly well under Russell Martin and the bid if as rumoured is half a million pounds won’t appeal to the swans as it is loaded with incentives. 0

You people are far too sharp 😉😂

He's made a fair contribution given he was free and has played a few different positions as needed, but anyone offering actual cash for him is more than welcome.

He's under 23 so training compensation may still apply even if there wasn't an explicit clause agreed.

Some say yes, some say no.
However, he signed on a free transfer, can clauses be attached to that ?

Could be a free transfer with no buy out clause on the contract.
It’s foggy territory.

Would imagine a % off the next sale, seeing we had him for free then I would expect one.

A lot of things to weigh up, I saw a big improvement in him towards the end of the season but overall is he what is required going forward.

12 months left on his contract, we would see a bit of a fee, open up a bit more wages. I think Wood would be a perfect like for like replacement for Joel.

Its a sell from me.

Never rated him, if we can get a couple of ££ all well and good.

Had a very good end to the campaign. It's somewhat bizarre to see so many licking their chops over the prospect of a measly £500k sale to a team that was in the Prem last season.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

The swans will see it as enough money to lure Joe from Stoke.

I'm surprised Burnley feel they have half a million to spend. Spoiled by the PL when £500k seems a measly sum.

We'll be hoping Wood is an upgrade. Latibeaudiere's not technical or quick enough to make a proper go at fullback, and too short to be a regular centre half in a two.

I thought they were in big trouble financially after relegation.

"Had a very good end to the campaign"

That could be a matter of opinion.

In our last 6 games we drew 4 and lost 2, whilst conceding 15 goals.
