Don’t Neil for Alex on Wednesday night.
Its yet another new manager facing the Swans.

Speed merchant in town and ready to flex his muscle against Stoke City 30th Aug 2022 12:49
Armstrong Oko-Flex the West Ham starlet who is finishing off the basics of his deal today at Swansea is in a race against time to be included in tomorrows match day squad for the swans against Stoke City. FAW paperwork always holds up transfers to Welsh clubs. 0

Swansea City would like to advise supporters heading to tonight’s game against Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium to please collect their pre-paid match tickets as early as possible to avoid queues.

Supporters who are not yet in possession of their match ticket can collect these from turnstile 55 at the bet365 Stadium which is located next to the away entrance.

Collections will be available 90 minutes before kick-off and supporters are advised to collect tickets as early as possible.

Swansea City earn a point when really it should have been three ( again ) 31st Aug 2022 22:19
Regardless of what anyone says about yet another late late goal which deprived the swans of the honours it was a much better performance all round for Russell Martin’s Swansea City. However, yet again it signifies a lack of character in the Swansea defence which concedes goals late on as if it’s a given part of their game. 0

I’ve blasted them the last couple of games, that was much better, played well, Stoke came back into it and got a goal at the end, enjoyable game. Looked a lot better tonight.

Martin isn’t going anywhere, let’s get behind the team for what will be a tough game on the weekend

I don’t believe for a second we’re not training, that would be all over the local paper

Wow you were actually serious.

Oh and we are training (who said we aren’t?) - just very, very little.

Excellent performance from the whole team who showed real character this evening.
We played with purpose and deserved to win.
So unlucky to concede to a Stoke team who have gone back to a style of play we were used to seeing in the past.
Some of our passing at times was sublime.
Onwards and upwards.

If Martin isnt going anywhere ,we are screwed.
You admitted you were losing faith
Getting behind the team should mean not allowing them to be ruined by a coach like Martin.

That they had more scoring opportunities? Double in fact.

Strange way to agree with me.

They do.

Quite incredible the difference. Give up the most goal scoring opportunities to the opposition all season, give away another 90th minute goal in an area STILL clearly not trained in… and it’s better?

As I said… Incredible.

They did.

They had 20 shots on goal, we had 10.

You mean shots on target.

Nope.

They had 20 shots, only 5 were on target.

That means that 15 were not on goal and were off target.

Absolutely I am losing faith but I’m not going to slate a performance that I thought was improved.

How can you support the team and not Martin ? Having a go at him at the match, will disrupt the players. Had we been dire tonight, as I said in the article on Sunday, the atmosphere would’ve been toxic on Saturday but I don’t think it was.

In answer to Dr P, we don’t know what’s been done on the training ground,

It wasn’t a question.

Remember, you not knowing doesn’t mean “we” don’t know, it means you don’t know.

So your link is right and mine is wrong… just because you want it to be?

20 shots on goal
4 shots on target

Same as it’s always been described. It won’t be changing just because you got yourself in a muddle.

We had 5 on target. 16 off target for them is meaningless. Actually, what it means is they don't take good quality shots. Speak to Brendan, he'll explain it to you.

No it doesn’t.

Obafemi didn’t register a shot from 1 yard out and an open goal, it has no bearing on the quality of chance.

You can miss the target from the penalty spot. It doesn’t mean that chance is “less quality” from a penalty that’s on target.

Brendan would agree.

So a penalty that’s missed is a worse chance than a penalty that hits the target?

Maybe this is the problem that many face on here, this is the type of view us sensible people have to deal with.

Not buying the better performance.
More direct but poor end product and very lucky at the back.
