A few of us have been banging that drum for a long time, Tory or labour, they are detached from reality. So out of touch they just cannot understand why they are so reviled. They live in a bubble and are informed and updated by "advisers" who tell them what they want to hear and what the advisors believe WE want to hear. The advisors themselves are out of touch, often Uni graduates who have hardly lived in the real world of work. We have a lot of political staff who have never had a proper job, they intern, graduate to advisor and spend their whole life in the political bubble. Then the MP's kids leave schooland get fast tracked through that system and we end with people like Stephen Kinnock. The whole system needs to change, people need to have had real jobs for at least 10 years before being allowed into politics, a good education would help but they need commn sense, something this clip clearly shows Sunak is lacking.

Could be worse you could have a country run by Drakeford and his cronnies who get voted in every 5 years no matter what. At least the UK does change its government every so often.

This got nothing to do with Drakeford, I know how much joy it gives you to draw him or the Labour party into anything that is said regarding the Clowns running the whole country not just a part of it, surprised you haven't brought Sturgeon into it as well. Anyway, what's your opinion regarding the OP???

Like most people on this site I get fed up with political drivel posted by the left wing while in my beloved Wales the Senedd after 25 years performs far worse by every economic measure and the living standards keep falling way behind the UK average. Sunak's with his very generous furlough payments kept 12 million people of the dole and with the energy price cap and generous extra fuel payments to every household has protected the population from the worse of the high energy prices caused by shortages after Covoid and the Russians cutting of Europes gas supply.

It's what Tories always do. They f£&; up, always, then blame others. Felix could never accept that his beloved Tories have fu?(£d the country up that we are at rock bottom. He blames Corbyn.

Who's Left Wing? Whats any of that complete Right Wing nonsense got to do with this Threads opening post?? Typically of you to go off on a complete tangent in an attempt to deflect your beloved's party serious defects. Pathetic! [Post edited 26 Dec 2022 22:21]

You just can't help it felix. No matter how utterly useless the Conservatives are shown to be, no matter how incompetent and corrupt, instead of criticizing them you always turn it into a criticism of the Welsh Labour government. With such an incredibly one eyed take on things it's hard to take anything you say seriously.

Thing is Rayns, the good work done there has allowed one eyed Tory voters to develop a selective memory- like forgetting they were in power for the 10 years before covid and practically everything was worse. They’re going to get smashed in the next election, so we really need this incarnation of the Labour Party to be good.

Sunak lost billions to fraud through furlough and he’s shut down the task force set up to investigate it. But aye, can’t fault it. Good job on the energy crisis? They were dragged kicking and screaming to implement labours windfall tax idea and even then they half arsed it. So instead we’ve added billions to the national debt to depress everyone’s bills for a few months on top of a £400 loan which will have to be paid back, meanwhile energy producers take in billions in extra profit. Billions lost to fraudsters, billions wasted on unusable PPE, billions lost out from not taxing the energy companies properly, and billions of pounds worth of austerity inflicted on the most vulnerable in society and the Tory fan boys are all clapping along like seals. Hilariously predictable.

Nye certainly was right. My Mother in law was rushed to hospital this afternoon and it’s been quite rough. Wife’s been in pieces all day but she’s finally getting some rest. Staff at Morriston have been heroes one and all. I can’t thank them enough. [Post edited 27 Dec 2022 1:14]

They did far more wrong than they did right and that's a 100% fact. So lets not have the baloney about getting furlough right, which we all know they did. Lets look at the Billions on pounds they wasted.
