The best time to invest was January 2003. This also related to military matters. The US Abrams tanks sank in sand on the road to Baghdad and got enveloped in a dust storm. They were notionally sitting ducks for the Iraqi air force and there were concerns about an embarrassing defeat which gave the market yips. It was around 3700 then.
