Always came across as a nice guy. My abiding memory of him was after he managed us, he was a co-commentator on Radio Wales, & when commentating on the swans, he always struggled with Angel Rangel’s name. He used to pronounce it Ankle Rankle, or something like that. Me & the misses always found that amusing.
