Despite an all out effort in the second half interdispersed with the usual passing issues and faulty finishing they really should have come away from this game with at least a point. 0 More disappointment, click above.

| Swans slip again at Preston : Sheehan now under pressure on 22:47 - Nov 5 with 3097 views | swansjack84 | We're slowing becoming that team who are being pat on the head after every defeat by the other team. Its all good we have certain moments in the team but as a fan who watches this team week in week out, Sheehan is making this team play bang Average football. We have no given right to be in top 6, but this team is good enough to be knocking on that door. I keep saying it, I fear the club will drag this one out. Until it gets worse. Win on Saturday and it keeps giving Sheehan more time. But lose and he has to go. I want us to win, but I would take the lose on Saturday if it means Sheehan goes. That's how bad its getting. And this comes from Sheehan supporter | | | |

Can’t see him going even if we do lose on Saturday. Thing is the board are not happy to sack a manager a season. They've seen the history since Russell Martin came in. The costs are high notwithstanding the employment of a new coaching set up. To sack and employ new people is a few million every time.

100%. But there has to be a point where it has to be a consideration or even currently thought of. Sheehan is not showing any signs of progressing. So are we expected to just except that were we are at and it's not gonna progress? Yes they don't want to keep spending money and changing managers but the ambition off the field is not matching what we are seeing. Yes we don't have God given right to be challeging but there is no way you invest in a new bar, adding snoop, modric etc to just say, we won't sack him cos we don't want to keep doing that.

I'd absolutely love for us to even be bang average atm. We're a relegation performing team. 2 wins in 10, dont win home games, concede soft goals, dont score goals, dont score set pieces. Just a look at the underlying numbers, and it supports that. Currently a relegation performing team offensively: 2nd lowest shots on target/90, 3rd lowest total shots/90, lowest amount of big chances created, lowest xg in the league and 2nd lowest touches in the opposition box. We are quite literally anything but bang average under Sheehan. We are a relegation contender. If the results go the way we expect them to on Saturday, we could be as low as 20th heading into the international break. It's time for everyone to wake up and realise that under this manager, we are a relegation contender. [Post edited 6 Nov 0:02]

Clearly we must be the exception and if the club board is trying to save face by not sacking then, we will drift even more. Im bored of watching us. Literally, Sheehan looks like someone who has ran out of ideas. So we have to except that now? If it is the case they won't sack him, then what we are stuck with him until this time next year? He won't reach that point. It's pointless trying to save face, do it now and pull the trigger.

We played the 6t team today and the same with the 7th team both away and should have won both, do you think that sheehan should be sacked?

To be fair it's not just those teams. Pretty much since pre season we have looked bang Average and only had small glimpses of good play. Other than that we look like a team set up to play backwards and no conviction. Sheehan doesn't know his starting 11, he has experimented with so much, but it seems the slow labouring play is making us go backwards. You cannot argue with the stats. They are shocking.

You said you are bored of watching us, I am not because I am a fan of over 45 years. You are obviously not a fan because you want to be entertained. Do one if you are shocked.

Who are you to dictate to people in this forum? You are in your right like everyone else to have opinions. But don't feel like you have the right to have a pop at fans, if they have been fans for a few years or decades. Im sure this forum was not set up with idea to have idiots like you to be so aggressive. Is there anyone you do like on this forum. You seem. To pick an argument everyday with someone.

Opposition managers must be targeting him- I would. II’m afraid he contributes very little, defence very poor, distribution usually side or back, loses possession and jogs back. We must have someone better. He looks completely lost.

Key has regressed and unfortunately he cost us the game last night. I know the guy was a beast, but he had the chance to deal with that before it became an arm wrestle. If Sheehan really doesn’t fancy Parker, I think we have to be looking at right back in January. We were well on top most of the first half and a soft goal like that killed our momentum. We lost due to a once a season strike and an unacceptable individual error. Genuinely unlucky last night.

I must apologise about my rant at you and several others last night. I was as you all saw very angry after the result and the way we played, it got to me that people didnt see it. As i said it p!sses me off when people go on about being entertained, the team we all support arent there just to entertain us, although I suspect that some fans want to be entertained. Again I am sorry for the rant, some of the posts got to me.

| Swans slip again at Preston : Sheehan now under pressure on 14:26 - Nov 6 with 1847 views | Joesus_Of_Narbereth | Biggest worry for me is we aren’t scoring simple goals. We’ve been reliant on individual moments where we score spectacular goals or when players whack it in from miles out. When was the last goal we scored that wasn’t a long shot? I honestly can’t think. Cullen’s goal against Blackburn maybe? That was back in September. Idah scored a penalty too but we aren’t scoring the sorts of goals that all the other teams score and we don’t look like doing so either. | |

This is 100% right. Vipotnik has got us out of jail a few times already. Idahs goal at Charlton and Eoms yesterday weren’t clear cut chances either. We’ve got to be able to create and convert scruffy goals. The screamers should be the icing on the cake
