Swansea City : The glaringly obvious and Matos agrees 26th Nov 2025 14:35 Vitor Matos saw a determined Swansea side for the first half an hour of last nights defeat against Derby County. The Rams made it their third win away from home for the first time in five years. Thereafter we saw a tepid display of poor control and a lack of endeavour which is creeping into the Swans play in recent games.0

For me a massive problem is our inability to play passes into a no.10 in the attacking third consistently and intelligently and this has happened with all of our recent managers. The fact we haven’t brought in a recognised and creative 10 is really poor from those involved in these decisions. LC has been given the chance to claim that position as his but it’s just not happening but we have two no.9’s who know where the goal is but also need a more central service into them as our game is so predictable

Cullen is not a 20 no Matter what Bellamy might think Not for us He is a failed 9 who’s someone selected to play as a playmaker Has to stop and it will
