Swansea City v Charlton Athletic : Match day thread 14:37 - Apr 26 with 13144 viewsModeratorC

There is much to he decided as who gets that sixth place in the Championship plus the top end fixtures are edgy.

Swans v Addicks : ‘Four from SE7’ Out of the Valley … 30th Apr 2026 17:02
On Saturday the Swans host Charlton Athletic for the final game of the season. A win could potentially see the club go from 11th to 10th place in the final standings, and a loss could result in the Swans slipping down to 14th. 1

Swans v Addicks : Nathan Jones ‘It really hasn’t been too long’ 1st May 2026 21:19
Swansea City play their final game of the season tomorrow lunchtime when they take on Charlton Athletic. Pride is the reward and for the Swans maybe, dependent on results a top ten finish. The last time the club did that was under Russell Martin when the Swans finished three points off the play offs. 0

Would be good if we could get 18000 plus for final match.

I can't see Charlton bringing many, they are safe and there is nothing to play for.

Last game of last season. Oxford brought 2.500 even though they were already safe. The players responded on the pitch. Three times they went behind and 3 times they equalised.

They’ve got around 2,400 to play with. Not sure on the overall attitude of Swans fans to make this a sell out.

It’s a sad state of affairs that Swansea give the opposition 2500 tickets because they can’t sell them to home fans.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

The current take up is low but it should change by midweek.

Suerly the type of game to do a deal on tickets.

(They may well have but unaware of it)

I believe that any offer you put in place for the South Stand [ the rest are virtually sold out] must be offered to the away supporters in comparable seats and they have sold out. The club would lose money.

Edit

Its not the case in the Championship.

No doubt the two block in west/North stand area will be released if rest of ground is sold out.

3-1 win, Vipi hat trick. If Vipi scores a hat-trick, he get to shave Eom's hair down to the wood. The entire team, except Eom, will be passing to him to shoot!
There will be 18,324 enjoying the sunshine.

Another good reason to turn up is the end of season sale in the club shop with up to 70%
