Goal of the season was decided by just 3 votes I did advise Josh Tymon to ask for a recount, as he was pipped by Liam Cullen's shot from half-way against Stoke City. Well done Liam!

It wasn't the best interview of the night to say the least. Came across as he didn't really want to be there. However I did chat to him as his table was next to ours and he was more jovial then. I also need to add that he was very professional with all the fans who came up for autographs, photos etc. All done with a smile and he chatted to anyone who wanted to talk. So maybe his petulance on the stage was all part of the act? Who knows, other than his agent!

If only we had an alternative players awards night for this season.....

- Frustrating player award - Ronald
- Passes to an opposition award - Burgess
- Most time on the pitch without touching the ball - Cullen
- Fake injury award - Ronald & Franco
- Most crosses blocked award - Ronald
- Most tackles OUTSIDE of the box award - Absolutely no-one!
- Best sideways passing award - Cabango
- Best backward passes award - Stamenic
- 'Heads gone' moment of the season - Cabango vs Hull
- The long passes into touch award - Vig
- We forgot you were playing award - Cullen
- Most possession without actually doing anything with it award - Cabango

I'm sure people can think of a lot more than this

Most tackles outside the box Award is Franco. However, he also wins the Most lost possession outside the box award as well. I've never seen a player lose possession and then win it straight back as often as he does.
Dracula award for being scared of crosses? Only one winner there.
Worst goal celebration? Josh Tymon v Oxford (though what a goal)
Worst dressed? Idah, who somehow managed to turn up last night in a jumper!

Vitor said today he was not delighted at having to make a speech.

I was asked to do a n eulogy for a departed uncle and was pretty nervous about it. Happily another uncle volunteered.

I could talk all day and ad lib about work things but not stuff like that. We are all different and some people do not like media exposure. Remember we are all human and behaviour can be misinterpreted.

Ah the 'dangerous brothers' working in harmony beautifully once again, I give a different perspective. Matos said in his presser he (Galbaith) was nervous about having to make a speech. The current forum narrative is that he is hoping mad at a low ball contract offer. There is no reason to sulk for days on end about a low ball offer. People park those things away and get on with life.

I have noticed on forums if you question the prevailing narrative you get targeted for criticism It is unhealthy actually as seen at other sites. One has given up and the other possibly coming to its end.

I do quite a bit of public speaking but I’ve never been as nervous as I was making best man’s speeches.

For me it’s much worse talking in front of people you know.

Galbraith appeared happy with Matos...embracing him at the endnof the game..and with other members if the coaching staff and players.

Time will tell but I wonder if this is all an overreaction caused by social media!

I think all that has been reported on here is the fact he is unhappy with his contract offer for whatever reason. The amount of people though who have visually seen him and explained his demeanour can’t all be wrong.

It is what it is, personally I can’t see how such a large number of people who don’t know each other on this forum, Twitter, Insta and Phil’s can even orchestrate what they have witnessed. Plus, as I keep stating, this website had insight to when he joined the club and that insight remains today.

He is unprofessional if a low contract offer has "affected his demeanor",

There could be a whole number of other reasons for this unrelated to the club.

There's no "dangerous Brothers" working in harmony just individuals pointing out your continual nonsensical delusional bollox.

There's no prevailing narrative to question either, you've got a habit of reading things that aren't written in that Walter Mitty mind of yours's,

Why do you think the club are trying to negotiate a new contract when there is two years and a third year option left on the current one. Could this reason coupled with a low contract offer in relation to the clauses he has been asked to sign be the reason for discontent. Personally I don't see that he is being unprofessional, the club want to change the contract not Galbraith. The club have not offered enough of a financial package to implement the changes as far as Galbraith is concerned. Just leave the contract as it is, the club will lose out if he is sold. A poor decision by the club when the original contract was agreed, quite possibly. Is this the type of decision and the current situation one of the reasons we are looking for a director if football.

Maybe a case of him being unhappy at playing right back as opposed to where he thinks he should be playing to show off his skills so with him thinking it is hampering his development as a midfielder and ergo is affecting his career. We have seen players being unhappy in roles they have been asked to play before or thinking they have been sidelined by inferior players to fit a situation.
That rightback position will need close attention hopefully Key can continue his improved performances and Parker can remains injury free but given the extent of the treatment of his original injury then very careful consideration is needed about bringing in another defender to ensure cover for all of the back four, although against Charlton at times it was more of a back three with both Fulton and Stamenic dropping but nice to see at other times a solid back four in place allowing them both to get forward.
Will we keep Ward for another season, will Lissah be deemed ready to add depth to the squad. Could he play anywhere across the back four I do think we need more cover for them.

Things not quite to Galbraith's liking would be an understandable position hopefully he will see that issues are being addressed and the quality on the pitch is improving and he can be a part of that rather that feeling he is being misused.

Personally I think it is nothing to do with playing RB and the issues only started when the club tried to change the terms of his contract. It will be very telling if he moves mid June for a vastly under value fee.

You are most probably right but I wouldn't be happy playing out of position and getting yours and the teams failings exposed rather than showing yours and the teams best points especially if you have high expectations of yourself and the team.

He is most probably not in a good frame of mind being sidelined by injury, nothing worse than not being able to play.

Exactly as I have been saying. If the club want to dramatically increase his release clause it reduces his bargaining power when negotiating a contract with a new perspective club. To change his contract like this he should be compensated, to low ball him in this situation is asking for trouble, its not Galbraiths fault its just poor planning by the club, possibly inexperience at this level.

He will be gone before the end of June in my opinion. Several clubs will match a low release fee, double his wages plus give him £1M plus signing on fee. As soon as the release fee is offered we have to allow Galbraith to talk to the other clubs and wages will be a formality, we have to learn and move on. Our only hope is a new DoF comes in immediately and can sort out the mess, Gorringe is out of his depth, I only hope the contracts of other signings are water tight.
