Woodward's inclusion recently will do wonders for the kids seeing a realistic pathway to the first team

I dont think we will be after many unless someone leaves. Yes we are probably making plans to cover most eventualities, but im not sure we are in a rush to sign anyone.

There’s too much devolved control, down to one man with the CEO. He can’t be everywhere all at once, and he is gaining in the unpopularity stakes with certain Swans fans. That’s more than evident.

We can’t have another season where he is the sole decision maker, the ticket fiasco cannot return as it did last year. Basic decisions and communication is very poor. The kit fiasco last year with his mate at Terrace cannot return either. And to have him heading up a potential 25m transfer of Vipotnik isn’t satisfactory. We are clearly waiting to announce Brown but won’t do so because of the finances, so delay as much as possible. With all the talent we have in this squad it cannot be ruined by inexperience or someone like the CEO thinking he’s capable of attracting players or negotiating deals when it’s an area of expertise he doesn’t have.

Personally I’m not happy at all with the disruption again. Maye leaving, Mangan coming temporarily and then all of a sudden being talked about as a coach. Adam Worth was a huge loss he has brought in more positivity with permanent signings than we have had for years. And I stand by it. Controlling a whole business and everything in between will see the club miss out on all manner of opportunities.

Matos also today he was sad he could not pick Dan Watts for the game. He is captain of ythe u21 and a shining light.

He will have quite a few prospects 20-22 to look at on the pre-season tour all with some Senior experience now. A full eleven to look at.

Watts GK, Margetson, Dabrowsi, Fanning, McKenzie, Lissah, Dan Watts, Jacob Cook, Cotterill, Congreve, K Wilson, Govea.

Perry ,Heywood , Pescatore, Woodward and Bates a bit younger. Bates looked the part when I have seen him as a raw no 9.

I see that you didn't mention Popham. Does that mean you don't rate him or do you think he's not going to sign?

Many of those are entering the last year of their contracts it will interesting to see who will be offered a new contract in the next couple of weeks and who will be left to run it down. A very worrying time coming for the clubs youngsters when the retained list is published. Another job for Gorringe to oversee, I hope he makes the right decisions and uses the input from the coaching staff.

What is your opinion on the rotation of players in the U21s , we have seen calls for playing the strongest team in the first team and in the few u21s games I have seen were changed quite a bit from game to game.
All for a bit of rotation but a teams dynamic can be badly affected by change or tinkering as have seen with the introduction of 5 substitutions.
I know a level of adaptability is needed until the youngsters find where they fit in a team, I wonder what the coaches look for in the youngsters, the capability to learn improving their game

Firstly we only see what happens on the pitch, the coaching staff see what happens in the background and the attitude, professionalism physical capability to train to the required level. When the retained list comes out there are often comments I don't know why they were released, often it is attitude Swansea is a village and people talk, often misbehaving and attitude gets back to the club.

Whe have a large number of u21 players some from the age of 17 who could step up, we don't want a gridlock near the u21 team just because of their age, the large number of u21s going out on loan has freed up space in and around the u21 team which has benefited those coming through without hindering team results. Its decision time coming up, don't be surprised whoever is released and some will leave by mutual consent, who could have predicted Glory Nzingo leaving before the end of his contract to join St Patrick's Athletic.

Thanks.
Would be good if our loan players can go to teams who are struggling to fill spots that ours could fill, getting more game time.
Be interesting to see how Congreve and Cotterill are thought of on their return or will their futures be elsewhere.

Interesting to see what happens to Wales too after his uninspiring loan at Huddersfield. Another loan for him, I think.

He's on a 4 year deal so another loan isn't too bad. But has Woodward jumped ahead of hin in the pecking order.

Debut with an assist and looking very lively I would say so.

Unlike some of these Cardiff academy players who are meant to be the best outside of Barca 😳

So if Vipotnik stays we have Vipotnik/Idah/Woodward if Vipotnik goes I expect us to buy a forward and can't see us going with Idah/Woodward/Wales. So is there a future here for Bobby Wales.

Ah ok

Just checked the O.S. and he's down as a midfielder maybe he has developed his range since that was posted and can be more versatile
