| Who will be out next signing from the Swedish league? 09:58 - May 7 with 2469 views | Swans9 | Hope it's a striker if Zan goes or a defender of any position across the back. We seem to have a good scouting network in Sweden. | | | | |

Bar the fact a bid cannot be made until the transfer window opens, but as we know talks can be conducted (at times) So the reports of a bid is utter BS. He’s seventeen, it doesn’t add up.

Not sure the club is in a position financially atm to do that.

| Who will be out next signing from the Swedish league? on 17:45 - May 7 with 1873 views | KeithHaynes | Spoken to an agent contact, he says no bid has been made (because it isn’t allowed) Yes there may be talks but the Swans cannot sign a seventeen year old in any event. We don’t have the educational facilities that are required in the exceptions to cover a minor transferring from Sweden to the English league. Filling isn’t eighteen until November. He mentioned maybe the talks surrounded Filling joining Swansea in January 2027. But he also quoted the usual websites reporting this and laughed. They are never right, so why bother. However, as we have stated there is nobody at the club to do these type of negotiations. The only person is Tom Gorringe, and he hasn’t got the experience. Plus really it isn’t in his overall brief, this needs people who are full time in the positions that do these things. Swansea have absolutely nobody. | |

I would imagine Gorringe is working flat out at the moment on the retained list as its normally announced mid May. There needs to be serious talks with some of the retuning loans and players like Cooper who although still under contract will need their futures sorted out, that is without the younger players. We really should have had a DoF in by now.

The club needs a framework, it has nothing.

We seem to be going one step forward and two back regarding club personnel. I question the one at the top and not the owners, there seems to be no stability at the club. I seriously question the man management skills of Gorringe, you know my opinion of him from the beginning, my opinion has not changed. Your opinion may totally differ from mine. I see there’s a few others elsewhere who are swallowing this BS. I’ll just say that there’s more than a few people questioning his competency. And it isn’t just the fans.

I would say head of recruitment is involved in all aspects of recruitment not just identifying a target.

Stories vary. Some claim Dimi just identified players, others state he was heavily involved. Guess it depends on who you believe. I would be surprised if anyone other than the club CEO was really involved in the nitty gritty of negotiations, but I could be wrong.
