The current situation is as follows.(BBC) CEO Tom Gorringe is currently overseeing recruitment matters due to a significant leadership void created by two key departures in the club’s football operations: Departure of Richard Montague: The former Director of Football left in September 2025 after only seven months.Departure of Adam Worth: The Global Head of Recruitment and Analytics, who initially stepped up to cover Montague's duties, left the club in April 2026.

Would also expect the club to be open for offers regarding Oli Cooper, Josh Thomas & Florian Bianchini. I also wouldn't be surprised if we were prepared to move on Cam Congreve and Kyrell Wilson.

I agree with all of that, plus it wouldn't surprise me if a couple of the u21s with a year left on their contract left by mutual consent to go semi pro in the newly structured JD Cymru Premier.

Aye. We really do need to start being better with the youth. Either by offering them a decent pathway into our first team, decent loan opportunities, or just letting them move on if they're not going to cut it. There will be exceptions, but realistically we should have a good idea if they're likely to make it or not by the time they hit 18.

Four out on loan in Scotland, plus others elsewhere. I think there is a pathway of sorts. Thankfully the new contenders Lissah and Wilson (brought in by Mark Allen then academy manager) could be a success. But recently we are seeing the odd success. Thomas Woodward, Sam Parker (if he can stay fit) And there’s a few others I hope are retained in the u21. Who knows but I just take reassurance that Anthony Wright is within the academy, a great blessing. I just feel at the moment our club is being taken away from us by one man and it needs stopping. My fear is that the CEO is now everywhere all over everything and there’s a potential for issues that could cost the club. He hasn’t any experience in these matters whatsoever.

Congreve and Wilson still have an upside. Swansea may as well keep them as squad players on.loer wages is nstead of speculative signings from Europe and UK who often fail after spending a Million or two Ogbeta Kuharevych Bianchini For example. Then there are the multiple of underwhelming loans for 18-19 year olds. Wilson and Congreve would be in the squad and get their chance in the league cup or come off the bench instead of Smith Samuel and Yacoue in theory Give Wilson and Congreve game time instead of prospects w who did not pull up any trees. Cheaper and more sustainable.

I still find it strange that Adam Worth just cleared his desk in April with nothing else lined up, him and Gorringe battle of the egos or somin must have gone on, I guess we'll have to wait for OHL's book to come out

I would guess it was the battle of the egos and the one with more stripes on their sleeve won. But the one with the stripes is on borrowed time because the drawbridge is being pulled up.

Well, with people being hired and leaving after any length of time, somin must be going on Gorringe way or the highway, it seems likely that he rubbing people up the wrong way to me.

Forgot he was even still here. Doesn't appear to have done anything other than one sub appearance for Girona and hasn't been injured either. Another one who will probably be on his way.

I think he’s just one of those who hasn’t made it. Like his brother. I recall being told but can’t remember who, that he has immense skill but just doesn’t get it. Wouldn’t surprise me if he left. Better ask this bloke, he know all the answers 😂

I have deleted my post. Not for my benefit - I couldn't give 2 shits personally but I do not want to be responsible for MY words being unfairly attributed to someone else. [Post edited 15 May 19:13]
