Southampton now saying that because Leeds were “only” fined £200k for spying ,it’s unfair to kick them out of the final
Leeds broke rules 3 & 4 , and were fined ,the EFL then added rule 127 which carries greater punishment ,as a deterrent to stop any teams repeating the spying charges
Southampton knew about the new rules,yet still went ahead with the spying and cheating .

I don't believe 1. Is specifically targeted by one EFL club to another. 2 and 3 are not EFL related.

But there’s also Middlesbrough to consider. If Soton are allowed to benefit to the tune of £200 mill from promotion by cheating it follows on that Middlesbrough will have lost the £200 mill through Soton being allowed to benefit from it |  | | |

And also the Southampton players who would have received chunky pay rises and bonuses for getting promoted as well as the chance to play in the premier league. Not that I feel any sympathy to them given their “binoculars” celebration. They found it hilarious this time last week. Also other clubs who have sold players to Southampton with an add on fee for promotion are affected.
