Not sure what Sheehan was trying to achieve by listing off better players or ones he likes to Widell. There will always be the odd incompetent staff in a business over time (Widell is not) putting that aside you have to try and get best out of those who work for you even if it's a short period of time. | | | |

Great article. Great to hear direct from players in their views. Still don't see why we have such distain towards Sheehan though. He steered us to safety when it was looking like a very possible outcome that we could go down. He stepped up. Gave up the comfort of being a coach and led the team to safety. Ok, the following season didn't go to plan, and some players will find man management approach difficult (although this is from one player and not a balanced view). I have nothing but respect and gratitude for the man for steering us in the right direction when needed. That being said, I am incredibly pleased the board made the decision when they did and have acquired Matos to take us to the next level | | | |

I think as well we have to remember these are very young for the roles they undertake. Matos and Sheehan both. Your views are well formed at 40 but your learning never stops. Especially within the management of young people with a talent and ego. You can’t get it right every day. Trying running this site 😂 | |
