Wales v Ghana : International friendly this Tuesday 31st May 2026 08:00
There won’t be a cast of thousands at this Tuesday night game against Ghana which is pretty much for the benefit of Ghana more than the hosts Wales. (7:45pm) Ghana play England on June 23rd in the World Cup so it’s clear they are looking to take some value from the fixture as a part of their preparations. 0

Will out of contract Ben Davies play, will Connor Roberts play his first game after injury, will Cameron Congreve play after an excellent season in Scotland. Three things I am interested in tonight.

Far far too much scum in that squad, they'll start thinking they are any good.

For an apparently important game worth playing its a yawn fest. It will probably be memorable to Congreve but in reality did Bellamy learn anything.

Can’t pretend I saw more than 15-20 mins overall but from what I did see I’m glad Congreve is one of ours and Isak Davies isn’t.

Disappointing to fall behind after having so much first half possession. James had his moments but overall we lacked killer instinct in front of goal. At first I thought the substitutions had handed the game to Ghana, but they gradually got into their stride and we got a deserved equaliser. Congreve did well and a tidy goal for Koumas. Ayew still had more about him than I was expecting.

I thought it was quite entertaining and Wales played some nice stuff with good inter passing. Welsh finishing was poor but they peppered the Ghanian goal in the first half.

Congreve looked the part and Koumas showed some finishing " craft" which we are missing. Neco Williams is looking very accomplished and Lawler gaining experience.

Wales have a well defined style of play and never gave up. Congreve has earned respect of the coaching team and teammates. Can he put pressure on Ronald next season.

Three new signing effectively next season. Congreve Lissah and Wilson.

Good post . I thought Congrieve was very good tonight, certs good enough for a spot on our bench next season incl Lissah and Wilson. I’d like us to give Blair McKenzie a go at centre half too.

I turned over to the TT and went for a shower before end of both.

Komas looked lively when he came on and scored, my mrs told me, loves her football

Congreve played very well in his cameo.

Interesting to See Ghana sub delayed by 1m as the player coming off took too long.- good.

Didn’t rate them, but they will easily beat England. Probably end up with eight men at the end.

Really?? Nothing is certain in football but I’d expect 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 to beat them with room to spare. However, it is England we are talking about so you never know😁

Im embarrassed too say this, but Ive just been taken back to the 1960s and sometimes I would have to wait till getting the Evening post to see the nights before result, as it never made the news at ten!!!
The wales game , I turned over just before the end us losing 1-0............that was it until about 2 hours ago and listening to Radio Wales and James was praising Bellas for using youngsters and the eqauliser!!!!........old or what?!

Well maybe but you’d have to say they are the firm favourites in this clash.

I thought it was a really entertaining game, much better than the dire champions league final and fa cup final, that I recently watched. Congreve must surely now be on the bench for next season at the least. I think he's developing very nicely and showed some real maturity last night . Puts Ronald's performances of late into perspective.

England are currently 3rd favourites after Spain and France.
