They think they have got a chance of signing Ethan.

god that would be the worst move ever he would be better off quitting football.
With West Ham being mooted in the background why would he want to go there?

Bookmark it. They sign him and he scores the winner on first day for them 😜😜. Joking aside, unless Galbraith has had heat stroke he would be nuts to go there. No doubt he's going but I imagine a West Ham or Wolves or somewhere.

What a weird player for the Swansea history books. Looked a swans player through and through, but whether it be playing at RB, his relationship with the management or his attitude he’ll just be a footnote moving forward

Don't worry, I don't think anyone thought Galbraith would be that stupid.

Or a footballer who has no affiliation with our club being offered more money to play for another club.

Unless you are Real Madrid I’ve learnt that’s how football works.

Stoke will probably feel the same if he pushes on there as he is PL standard.

A very good player who will make Stoke a better side unfortunately.

Harsh.

(A) You don't understand the financial details/constraints the club need to work within. We don't have the commercial income of a Man Utd, or Arsenal or even Wrexham for that matter so the owners can only plough in a capped amount as any other club. It appears they are working hard on the commercial side of things to bring in additional revenue but until then, we have to live within our means. I would argue that actually selling a player may actually be a good investment if it means we can use that money elsewhere in more priority positions that need strengthening.

(B) You don't know what's been said behind closed doors between the club/agent/player. He may well have said he's going to down tools or he's expecting to get a lot more injuries this season... You'd hope not being a professional athlete but we don't know how those conversations have materialised. What we do know is he's clearly open for a move having just spent 1 season at the club, so as good a s a player he is, he's thinking of his own ambitions/purse and not the clubs. Again, if he has told the club categorically that he wants to leave then it's good business to sell him and bring in a hungry player who wants to fight for the club. We unfortunately ely don't have the luxury or the finances to simply put an asset like him in the reserves for a season and watch his value dwindle.

He wants to go, we've got a decent price for him by all accounts so Ta-ra Terry.

A player who refuses to sign a new contract and obviously had his head turned, we are turning a big profit on him and are already re investing it hardly asset stripping.

I agree
All
My forum life ? The “financial experts” constantly plead our smallness
It is utter trash
We have history
We sold Siggy for 43 million probably worth 70 now
The profit apparently went to fill a black hole
Hmm
Rather we replaced Siggy with shite
Now it’s PSR or whatever the feck it is
Yet far “ smaller” clubs manage to get it right

Just look at how Tony Bournemouth are doing and Brentford are doing

We have very wealthy owners apparently

Hmm

In fairness and I’m
Not an acolyte of Contro but that is exactly how the majority of fans feel , y know , the clueless dyckheafs like me who don’t know the ins and out of the football business
First it was Swansea too small now this
Folk feel a lack of ambition and business guileHTF do Bournemouth prosper
Tiny ground and can’t see their world profile attracting massive revenue
They do however never buy duds and make massive profit

Bournemouth took home £170 million in prize money last season they have been shrewd in the transfer market too and raked in over £100 million from that such a pity we blew it and got relegated

The club have done the right thing.
We have a lot of quality in midfield.
Galbraith was a very good player but I don't want a player with his attitude here.
