| San Miguel 21:17 - Jul 7 with 2286 views | max936 | WTF has happened to it? its been replaced by San Miguel Especial and its awful stuff. Not a really a lover of lager, used to like the original San miguel, left with Peroni, Moretti or Poretti now, won't touch the other offerings. | | | | |
| San Miguel on 21:47 - Jul 7 with 1405 views | Togg | Most of them brewed under licence in the UK now.Hard water added crap etc. I actually still quite like San Miguel UK but now trying out a lot of the German beers available in Supermarkets. Augustiner is supposed to be the DBs. Available in Sainsbury. I shall be trying it shortly. Tyskie still brewed in Poland is a good bottle. | | | |
| San Miguel on 22:00 - Jul 7 with 1380 views | KeithHaynes | San Miguel draught here is a beauty, Cruzcampo although big is generally drunk by three old men on a seat in any town you choose reminiscing about the good old days with Franco. | |

I've tried the Erdinger not much here but in Majorca, bit tasteless I've found it to be, but its a change from the usual Mahou, Cruzcampo, Estrella is passable I suppose. Nice one Cheers Togg

it's like piss water, if that's all they got I usually opt for a JD and Coke ideally with Kahlua or a refreshing Aperol Spritz, failing that Red wine
| San Miguel on 22:18 - Jul 7 with 1357 views | GVJack | I do like a Cruzacampo. Staropramen is a lovely drop, and also really enjoyed a pint of Hawkstone last month. Pricey though. | | | |

Yeah, I've bought it in Tesco before now, not fussed on it to be honest in Majorca yes its better than some of the piss water they serve there, unless SM is available. Jersey or Isle of Wight for us this year. Jersey for me Mrs undecided. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

If in Spain. Alhambra on draught. Also the green bottle but it's 6.4 but lovely . Recently there's a beer called Aguila which I love. Find it in Murcia a lot. The sin filtrar bottle is amazing.

I really can't get on with %. The exception being Guinness which actually tastes like Guiness
| San Miguel on 07:46 - Jul 8 with 1163 views | Dr_Winston | I'm not a huge lager drinker (more of a CAMRA guy) but I don't mind a drop of the premium stuff. Stella, Staropramen, Amstel and some of the better quality German beers. A good Weissbier goes down well too. Off to Prague in November which I'm looking forward to. Try some proper Urquell. | |

Had a couple of ice cold San Miguel’s in MK Sunday evening. No complaints from me though the amount of fluid I’d lost that day, ice cold dog piss would have hit the spot!

I enjoy that, Moretti runs it close mind, Peroni is in 3rd place generally for me. Still love my Real Ales though the IPA's and the Pale Ales and the odd session on the Guinness
| San Miguel on 17:46 - Jul 8 with 974 views | Whiterockin | Staropramen is my favourite at the moment and my first choice if available when out and about. Camden Hells is quite drinkable in some establishments. | | | |

Porretti I like but not available everywhere. Starapromen I like also, they used to serve that in The Pilot. Mumbles pubs serve crap kagers. Madri just about everywhere 🤮and Cruzcampo also 🤮. San Miguel nowhere to be seen, they do it in The Pumphouse I happen to know.

If you get the chance try some Tiny Rebel Clwb Cabana. Apparently they sometimes have it in Morrisons. Caribbean IPA. Had a couple of pints of it when I was at their Cardiff gaff last month. Possibly the best IPA I've ever tasted.

Porretti is quality, slightly stronger tasting than Moretti, need to try it more often to make my mind up.

It's not great, but it's often the better option in many pubs. Carling, coors, yuk

Staropramen for me too Holiday regularly in the Canaries, as mentioned earlier in this thread, Alhambra is a nice drink, Dorado Especial 5.5%(not the regular stuuff, which isn't nice) is really good. I like Mythos, but be prepered to be frowned upon if you ask for it in Greece (they aren't fans over there) Tesco and Morrisons doing 4 x large bottles of 'foreign' lagers for £8 It's becoming a good idea for booze runs to England after the Gov minimum charge 50p per unit of alcohol - 18 cans of Stella £19.20 in Morrisons here - £13 Tescos Cribbs Causeway - fill a van!!!
