Prostrate Cancer UK have been campaigning heavily for these products to be available in men’s toilets for those with incontinence issues to save embarrassment.

It’s something that’s been happening for a while, the Welsh government have had some products in toilets for a few years.
I’m keeping an open mind on this story as it’s come from GB News and Reform who may be pushing an agenda, but equally it may be right. I don’t agree with tampons being placed in men’s toilets and I’ve never seen any tampons in a male toilet, but I have seen pads and sanitary bins. If what’s being placed in toilets is just pads and it’s being distorted to include other products then it’s a bit naughty, but if the story is correct then I agree with the comments about tampons.
I 100% support pads and sanitary bins being placed in male toilets, it’s something prostate cancer patients and survivors have been requesting for years as many suffer incontinence following treatment. Given prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 males, if your father, or brother have had prostate cancer the risk increases to 1 in 4 so it’s quite common. | | | |

Carbon capture is a good idea as are many other incentives for many other important issues but why does the poorest of the home nations belive its the responsibility of the taxpayers then can't seem to find the money to fund just as important issues affecting its own. | |

The core costs would seem to be the products themselves, distribution and storage. So increasing the number of products, the number of sites that are distributed to and the overall volume would not on the face of it seem cheaper.

Actually no, temperate rainforests are more effective, and guess what we have them in Wales and they would benefit from expansion to help protect biodiversity.
This is a true case of the money would be better spent in Wales, the money is designated for Wales.

Planting trees in Wales instead of Uganda has other benefits plus it helps the UK get to net zero quicker which we are all currently paying over top for. I'm all for helping the World but surely we should do this when basic facilities are up to standard here, they are not. Its a bit strange people in England trying to justify Wales using their budget outside of Wales whilst their facilities are actually better in some cases. No personal offence Gwyn but surely you can see where I am coming from.
