Despite the strong Welsh connections, it is unlikely that Jeremias is available to play for Wales.FIFA rules dictate that parents or grandparents must have been born in the country they wish to represent.But although the current rules do not work in his favor, he is eager to learn more about his family history.'I was born and raised in Argentina, but obviously I have been aware of the Welsh connection for a long time,' Jeremias said.'As a footballer, it is completely natural to be interested in playing for a national team if there are family connections.'To start with, I would love to visit Wales. OHL, just so you know, FB has not "poisoned" me. A majority of your posts are depressing, and sometimes demeaning. And, a good example of this is when you called this story that Tenby had found written in Welsh, "Sentimental shite" and "Pitiful really", most of us can only shake our heads.
I would bet that most of us posters here who read this story of a young man, born in a far-flung jungle outpost of Argentina founded by Welsh people many generations ago, who overcame childhood leukemia, and has now become a professional soccer player...well, that's a pretty impressive story, and better yet, a good read. And then you throw cold water on it by calling it "Sentimental Shite", "Pitiful really".
Most of us admire this about the young man:
