All goalkeepers make the odd mistake, it has always been so.
We have two top class keepers in Vorm and Tremmell.
Tremmell has come in for criticism lately for his positioning when we face a free kick just outside the box. The problem facing keepers today is that so many players can now get the ball up and over the wall that the keeper has to take up a more or less central position to have any chance of saving it. If the keeper takes up a position too far, either left or right of the wall, he has no chance of saving it.
I think that Tremmell is a better keeper than Vorm in dealing with crosses but Vorm still gives me more confidence. |  | | |

I agree Tremmel was amazing last year and didn't he have the highest stats in Europe as a goalie?
He needs games. Not even Vorm could slot straight back with same form after missing 8 or 10 games.
I think there have been a number of times where you could look at Vorms attempts to but that's just knit-picking.
Every Goalie has a few dodgy moments. Gerry did amazing the last Europa game and he saved us from what could have been an embarrassing night!
1 goal conceded v chelsea and his line of sight was blocked by that goal anyway!
And the goal V villa you cannot blame on Tremmel. He tried. If you want to blame anyone blame our defense. Better to not blame anyone and learn from the mistakes and grow as a team. | | | |
