You're deluding yourself, mate. Do you seriously think that team we put out yesterday has any chance of beating Norwich?

Indeed, Norwich played well against Leicester and were unlucky to lose. They had far more grit and determination about them than we have at the moment.

We played a very good Spurs side yesterday, held the lead until the 70th minute.
We always knew it was going to be a backs against the wall, yet we could have got a point or even three out of the game.
We are playing an Arsenal side on Wednesday who by all accounts yesterday were not up for it the way Spurs were yesterday, despite having a good chance to get a win against Man U and push for the title. I fancy us to get at least a point there.
If we had played yesterday like we did against say Stoke home, then I would be much less optimistic. As it was we almost broke our PL duck against a Spurs side going for the title.
Some out there ought to get a grip.

Did you and Hereford watch the game yesterday ?
We scored one and had two excellent opportunities which with any luck Palochi and Gylfi would have scored and we'd all be singing a different song today.
When Monk was nearing the end of his tenure, we,d have been lucky to see one effort on goal

The team that ran the best team in the league close for 70 minutes? Away. No absolutely no chance. We might as well give them the points.

Struggling to see us going on a 6/7 match unbeaten run but would obviously love it.

Genetically, paedophiles have more genes in common with crabs than they do with you and me. Now that is scientific fact. There's no real evidence for it, but it is scientific fact.

Yes indeed. I saw plenty of fight during yesterday's game, especially from Fabs, who was fab. The worry for me is that we are sitting far too deep and not challenging for the ball until it is in the final third. Hopefully we will start being far more assertive against the likes of Norwich, Villa and Bournemouth to ensure we get at least a couple of wins and get over the 30 point mark as soon as possible. The rest of the season will then be a grind to try and keep ahead of the bottom three.

C'mon Bony shoot !!!!

The question should be, do you seriously think that a team that has got 8 points from the last 6 games will have any chance, at home, against a team that concedes two goals on average per game and who have gained just 1 point from their last 6 games.

The answer is blatanty obvious. YES.

So Norwich lost away, by one goal, to a top of the table side and it was a good result, while we lost, by one goal, away, to a top of the table side, scored and it was a bad result? Whatever.

Spot on. Some of the whinging on here is phucking laughable. You wonder why some bother to "support" a team....just to have a moan probably. Ok, things ain't great at the moment, but FFS keep some perspective & hold your nerve. If these moaning phuckers were players, they'd have thrown in the towel ages ago.

The problem we have is that we try to defend a 1 nil lead and are crap at it. we did play well but trying to shut up shop at 1-0 and invite quality sides to attack is a recipe for disaster.

Losing by one goal to Tottenham is not a disaster. Just saying.

Us losing is never a good result no matter what Norwich or anyone else do.
However Spurs are in good form and we have enough games left where we can get enough points to stay up.

Fingers crossed.

How can you say we played with less grit and determination yesterday than them ? We might not have been good enough but it wasn't due to a lack of determination.

Well done norwich for only conceding 1 yesterday. For the record here are the goals they have conceded in the 7 previous games

2 , 2 , 3, 5 , 3 , 3 , 3

Doesn't show much grit or determination does it ?. Incidentally those games included conceding 3 to Spurs at home and 2 to Villa.
