Beaujolais day on 21:55 - Nov 16 with 2718 views | Dr_Winston | Apparently Beajolais Nouveaux is French for "Gullible F*ckwits".
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Beaujolais day on 21:56 - Nov 16 with 2716 views | LeonWasGod | I know someone who's well into this stuff. He goes to posh places mind, not Swansea, and it seems to be a pretty big thing. I've never been bothered myself. As it's Morgans, I'd steer well clear.

Beaujolais day on 21:57 - Nov 16 with 2702 views | perchrockjack | Winston is suggesting Beaujolais isn't really that good. It's a blend and it's ok. For a decent budget red ,go Malbec and Argentianian at that.

Beaujolais day on 21:57 - Nov 16 with 2703 views | airedale | As a wine drinker, I know how much the French enjoy it. The English falling over themselves to buy, at top prices, this crap which they wouldn't be able to give away in France. There used to be competition in the 1980s to see who could get It over here first too. Somebody would chuck It into a car, or a hot air balloon.......

Beaujolais day on 22:06 - Nov 16 with 2677 views | Rancid | If I wore a suit and worked in an office around Swansea I'd still phuck it off. Cheap, tacky and pretentious.Originally set up so businessman could thrash out deals over a glass of red but now call centre dribblers telling tales of sales pitches and hilarious phone calls made. A Beer and Lager day is long overdue where manual workers would thrash out the pubs and eachother. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Yes there are some good ones. And even the more complex will often take a chilling. Sainsbury's does a nice Fleurie that chills well, or at least they used to.
Beaujolais day on 23:10 - Nov 16 with 2543 views | NeiltheTaylor | I remember in the 80s; the news would have interviews with ruddy faced bank managers on the ferry. Do people still do it then?
| Joe_bradshaw -I thought the cryochamber was the new name for Cardiff's stadium.

In the late 80s they used to do it everywhere. It seems to have died out across the rest of Britain, but lives on in grotesque exaggerated form in Swansea. I don't really see anything wrong with it if folks are enjoying themselves. Tend to steer clear of town, mind. What's this prejudice against cheap suits, anyway? [Post edited 17 Nov 2016 11:45]

| If you can fill the unforgiving minute.
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son! |
