Lovely to see the father (Rob Jones) with his daughter Poppy who has a horrible disease taking part.
Ian Gough and Ryan Jones still looking fit.

My brother is doing the Ironman and was using the triathlon for training too,

I was going to do ir but I didn't want to embarrass him.

Fair play to them Ons, Jones looks very lean. Gough was always an athlete.
Nice to watch a bit of Swansea when having a bit of annual leave see!

Jones and Gough did the Ironman last year. As did Shane Williams who also did it in 2015 (the year I did it).

Great event.

How old are you and what time did you finish - my brother will be happy anytime before 10:30 and he will be 49

Hell of an achievement mate. Genuine respect for that. I'm back running after 4 years, but could never do an Ironman

Hello :)

I'm 43 and my finish time was 12:41 so finished just after 730pm. It's a fantastic day and the crowd makes a huge difference, especially on the run.

I won't do it again purely because of the sheer volume of training that is required. Was a big commitment but not an easy one to commit to on a regular basis!

Well done, I have only seen the ironman abroad and was jealous of all who took part - the run has to be the hardest. He is an excellent cyclist and I wish I could run alongside him as the run is going to be the big one that will take it out of him. Saying that, I reckon he will be done way before ten.
