I seem to be continually urinating. I don't mean I am walking around spraying all and sundry, but I am weeing maybe every hour like a proper load, not just a dribble. Now normally, I would say it's to do with diabetes, but my recent blood test is saying everything is normal and as it should be.

I am not drinking any water or other drinks in excess to the norm.

Any ideas?

I await several "hilarious" responses from the usual suspects.

I am thinking about giving Norris McWhirter a call. I reckon I've pissed about 5 litres today and am busting again. Perhaps there's some money to be made from my current predicament.

No hilarious response, go and see a doctor rather than try to create a multiple page thread 🤔 no need to thank me 👍

How often were you going for a wee? Mine is clear and doesn't smell which is good. I reckon i was pissing for about 2 minutes solid earlier. I started giggling to myself. Luckily it wasn't a public toilet.

Obviously ECB has the correct answer but what do you call the norm for liquid consumption and are you drinking water, tea or coffee?

I am quite a bit older than you but I go about every hour during the day but I probably drink a couple of litres of water/ tea per day. The air con in my office is freezing as well which seems to make me go more than normal.

If there are no other symptoms it's probably nothing, but worth checking out as you are obviously concerned.

Life is an adventure or nothing at all.

Sounds like a kidney or bladder infection to me Fath.

Could it still be issues with prostate if it is a load of urine and not a dribble?

Probably some sort of infection. Does it burn or sting at all? Is it cloudy?

It could be, but there's only one way to find out.

The most common cause is Urinary Tract Infection. Take a urine sample with you WHEN you visit the doctor

Seems like you are not alone JF. :-)
I am with you as well. Peeing like a racehorse.
I was waking up feeling dehydrated then having water and a cuppa. It got so bad that at times when driving into town I would have to call quickly into Singleton Hospital to use the bogs.
Been to the docs. Had the rubber glove. Thought all ok but slightly enlarged so referred me. Had another rubber glove and she thought all was ok and said come back in 3 months.
I think my main problem, apart from age, was trying to drink my 8 cups of water per day. I just have a drink with a meal now and space the others out and it seems to have done the trick.
Best advise though is get down the quacks..

Go to the doctors.

This is a football forum.

And if you're not happy with the 1st diagnosis go back until you are.

I've had several less than positive experiences at my GP in the last year one of which could have had very serious consequences.

I know this sounds crass, but if you don't get any satisfaction via NHS, and you can afford it, consider going to get a private opinion.
You can still get any treatment on the NHS - just get the diagnosis quicker.
Hope it's all sorted quickly.
Sadly the NHS is in such a mess (not the brilliant staff's fault) that waiting can be a dangerous game

There's a simple blood test to check the prostate and would ask for further tests to check for diabetes (that sounds the most likely cause).
