A lot of excuses, says they want to bring in players but they have to be careful about not overpaying any more.
When you sell players for less than you bought them, it hurts, to paraphrase.
"No guarantees" but says he'd be surprised if we don't bring in some loans.
I was glad that the interviewer brought up all the surplus money we made on transfers. CP used the excuse that we've lost a lot of money elsewhere. [Post edited 11 Aug 2018 18:22]

A few additions again blaming the decions of the last few years; says the club needs a change in culture; says the club is taking control over player valuations (implying we’ve paid over the odds in the past - and effectively saying that woods is overpriced). On loans, no guarantees, but said he’d be very surprised if we didn’t bring some in. | |
